hey @frederikprijck thanks for getting back to me I'm not on Gitter very often. I'll try to throw it into plunkr. Right now it is a full-blown (but small) app.
Will report back @frederikprijck, thanks.
@jeserkin thanks for getting back to me I'm not on Gitter much, there's a basic running version at imgur-utility.herokuapp.com. What I'm trying to figure out is how to handle the client-side routing so I can render three different views, but so far have been striking out with that.
@jeserkin I have a branch going locally right now that incorporates the new (not-working, 'Cannot GET /:view-template') front-end, and it was suggested that I try to throw it in a plunkr. I'll do that tomorrow and report back. Thanks.

Hi All,
I want to write few functions in my project. Basically i will be using those functions every where. Where should i write those functions?? Directives?? RootScope?? Anywhere else??
I want to know the best way of writing core functions in an Angular project.

Services @GhanghasChirag_twitter
Rootscope and Directives are NOT the place to put those.

Hi everyone! I'm new to the file library and other related stuffs.

A newbie question. Is this called blob?
Lta>E@5PGv:q@............ and so on.

This is a response I get from my server that should've returned an image. How can I convert it back to an image data or create a file object from it? I'm planning to use it in creating a zip file using JSZip as I've said earlier.

@GhanghasChirag_twitter Start with the docs and doing some tutorials.
You can create everything in a single (app.js) file. But you should not do that.
@jcsgithub You need a byte array iirc, and you don't have to convert it back to an image. You save it as a file using the original extension (e.g: .jpg) and save that file somewhere (being in a zip or not)
But anyway, that question is not Angular related.

Hi all. I'm trying to use an Angular Material file input directive from GitHub (https://github.com/shuyu/angular-material-fileinput). The library doesn't annotate one of its function dependencies, so ng-strict-di is throwing errors when I register the directive as a dependency for my app. What's the best way to resolve such an issue? I've never forked a GitHub project before, unfortunately all my experience is in TFS. So if there's a way to work around the issue that would be great.

I have a couple of nested components. Can I somehow read the DOM nodes of the first (parent) component, without reading all nodes. What I'am trying to do is, fetch all images in parent component only. Right not I'm selecting with $element[0].querySelectorAll('img') - but that will get me all images, also the ones in my child components. Any who can help? :)

are you using jquery or just angulars built in jqlite?
@aventic If you are using jQuery just do something like closest('whatever')
or if its named, do angular.element.find(#someElementId)
