@Asher2016
@mlc-mlapis when i copie the url in the browser , it works
Miloš Lapiš
@mlc-mlapis
@Asher2016 Create a simple index.html with just video tag.
@Asher2016 I thought originally <video width="400" controls disabled="true" class="thumbnail" src="http://localhost:8000/api/v1/media/files/20210305173443__ycLBHXQPDZZ30W9TrbTL.mp4" ...
@Asher2016 So, without any Angular binding.
@Asher2016 It could be related to http://localhost:8000. Is it the same port as you are loading the app itself?
Ashref
@Asher2016
@mlc-mlapis well i create normal html page , and i put the src and not working
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
    <title>video</title>
</head>
<body>
    <video width="400" controls disabled="true" class="thumbnail">
    <source src="http://localhost:8000/api/v1/media/files/20210305173443__ycLBHXQPDZZ30W9TrbTL.mp4" type="video/mp4">
    </video>
</body>
</html>
Miloš Lapiš
@mlc-mlapis
@Asher2016 So, it's not related to Angular.
Ashref
@Asher2016
@mlc-mlapis also just src
<video width="400" controls disabled="true" class="thumbnail" src="http://localhost:8000/api/v1/media/files/20210305173443__ycLBHXQPDZZ30W9TrbTL.mp4">
@mlc-mlapis so do you think its related to server ? i am using spring boot
Miloš Lapiš
@mlc-mlapis
@Asher2016 Try to place another attribute on the video tag: crossOrigin="anonymous"
Ashref
@Asher2016
@mlc-mlapis OMG , just passed by that attribute and i didn't think that would be a solution , , Yes in normal html page it works , hope it will in angular
Miloš Lapiš
@mlc-mlapis
@Asher2016 You did not answer my question. Are the ports the same or different?
Ashref
@Asher2016
@mlc-mlapis angular port: 4200 and in java 8000
Miloš Lapiš
@mlc-mlapis
@Asher2016 OK, that's the reason of your problems.
Ashref
@Asher2016
@mlc-mlapis it works now , thank you

Hi everyone, does anyone know how to get the mat-error and mat-hit animations? I have made a custom the mat-error and mat-hint like elements and would like to animate them exactly as in material. Thank you.

Just in case if someone needs it:export const materrorhintanime = trigger("materrorhint",[
transition(':enter',[
style({
opacity:0,
transform: "translateY(-7px)"
}),
animate("200ms ease-out", style({
opacity:1,
transform: "translateY(0)"
}),)
]),
])

import { animate, style, transition, trigger } from "@angular/animations";

export const materrorhintanime = trigger("materrorhint",[
    transition(':enter',[
        style({
            opacity:0,
            transform: "translateY(-7px)"
        }),
        animate("200ms ease-out", style({
            opacity:1,
            transform: "translateY(0)"
        }),)
    ]),
])

@bilusau, I don't know why you started here, and it looks that you know nothing about Angular. It would be best when you start reading with official docs on https://angular.io and get some basic info first.

I want to use the @ViewChildren decorator for some elements in my template. However, those elements get created after some network request observables complete. When will I be able to access them? I did a test and in ngAfterViewInit() I don't have access yet. I put in some console logs in ngOnDestroy() and I do have access to them. How do I access @ViewChildren that get created after the data returns and when those elements are actually created?
Miloš Lapiš
@mlc-mlapis
@ironchef-bklyn It's possible to subscribe to @ViewChildren because it instantiates a QueryList in fact, https://angular.io/api/core/QueryList and it has changes observable.

I am trying to create reusable header and footer in my Nebular project, but still unsuccessful. I don't see any problems in the console, but I suppose that I have done some incorrect routing. The lazyloaded module, which should display some content, is not loaded when the application loads. Here is my sample application under stackblitz: https://stackblitz.com/edit/nebular-common-header-footer
Could help some one?

I'm trying to implement something where elementA's size will changed based its parent's(elementB's) width. What's the best way to observe elementB's width changes? I've tried the ResizeObserver and the MutationObserver and they both lag in rendering until I've actually interacted with elementB (rolling over it). Is there a way to do this without using those ResizeObserver or MutationObserver?

Greetings, given the following wireframe, when clicking Users I want to see User details where the blue arrow is but it shows up when the red arrow is at, routing and all works but want the user detail in the bigger container

@danww
@khashashin_twitter I've never used the Nebular lib, but are you sure you're using the layout module correctly? https://akveo.github.io/nebular/docs/components/layout/overview#nblayoutcomponent
@ironchef-bklyn Is this based on the screen width, or is there something else changing the width of Element B?

@ironchef-bklyn (I use @angular/flex-layout for layout)
Yusup Khasbulatov
@khashashin_twitter
@danww well it might be the problem of nebular layout. As you can see in the stackblitz I actually followed "Angular way" to implement reusable header and footer. I've created an issue in nebular github will see what they'll say
Daniel Willis
@danww
@khashashin_twitter It doesn't seem to be a problem with the lazy-loading - I tried your Stackblitz but pointing the 'pages' route directly to the PagesComponent and still no joy.
Yusup Khasbulatov
@khashashin_twitter
@danww exactly, if I remove nebular layout tags it works. Hmm it kind of strange.

Hi, what's up everybody. I'm recently catching up with Angular Universal. I saw the TransferState API, I'm seeing a lot of examples over the internet but I can't still manage to avoid making double requests. Do you know some resources like guides or blog posts that would guide me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.
Yosi
@yosiasz
maybe that is the problem :laughing:
