Are there any plans to add any built in animations into the library?
Would be nice to have really simple "Material" esque animation set. maybe I can make one :)

@dmackerman I think the team is closely working with Angular's animation team
and they plan to include animations in the library
But you should definitely submit yours! That will help everyone

just use a regular select they didnt add it yet
you can add some css to make it semi pretty though

@imatefx I think you can put the select inside a md-input-container and then add the md-input class for a quick start

Why doesn't the bower repository include the SCSS source files?

because it compiles half of it via js
to handle the themes

just make a task to copy and rename the material files to your scss dir then include them

yeah, well for dev we're using gulp-inject and just injecting the CSS file first.
for prod, I'll just concat it first
