A number of people seem to be having issues with ng-messages, when they go slightly beyond the example code - see e.g. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/34676228/angular-material-ng-messages-not-showing-with-custom-validators

Hey guys, do I really only have the ability to colorize buttons either with md-primary, md-accent or md-warn
is there nothing like md-success?

Sure, but I don’t want to use md-primary for e.g. success buttons. Currently I’m using custom css where I use md-success for those purpose, because in my application md-primary is used for theming toolbars, inputs etc. not for those kind of buttons.

@pfinkbeiner have you considered looking at the existing button styles and override/make a new class for your purposes?

Yep, I ended up to follow that approach. But I thought I could create something like md-sucess or whatever with mdThemingProvider by simply defining a new palette…
