@PooSham If I was making a public app I would use css grid 100%. I work in the corporate ecosphere where IE11 is indeed alive and well, so we've reached for the Material grid a few times when we needed 2-d layout because of that.
I have also seen the problem that the menu on the website does not close properly. If you want to resolve this problem then contact http://angulardevelopersneeded.com/ as they will be able to provide their experts to you.
im trying to use angular material buttons in another NgModule but the styling/functionality is not working even though its imported in the main app.module.ts
am i doing something wrong?
@JacquesJamiesonLancom it needs to be imported in every module where it is used
Is flex-layout supposed to be the replacement for Material's own layout features (https://material.angularjs.org/1.1.2/layout/introduction)? I have not been using it because it is still in Beta. I have been using Covalent's (v2) built-in layout, which I think is just an extension of the original Materials one. I do not want to include that just to use the layouts. Is there another stable alternative?
Pavan K Jadda
Everyone, I need help with mat-table architecture. I need to design a table that gets data from Spring Boot app with 15000+ plus records. My table has 7 columns and users want sorting, pagination and filtering on this table. I can implement sorting and pagination without any issues. But filtering is kind of hard, since we have to deal search it across 7 columns. Any suggestions?
@pavankjadda just do it server side and only load what the client needs to see
Hi Team I having an issue in integrating OwlDateTime picker with Angular2+ Material
Below snippet throws error :
<mat-form-field class="example-full-width" appearance="fill"> <mat-label>Choose a date <input matInput [owlDateTime]="dt1"> <span class="trigger" [owlDateTimeTrigger]="dt1"> <mat-icon style="margin-top: 10px;">calendar_today</mat-icon> </span> <owl-date-time #dt1></owl-date-time> </mat-label> </mat-form-field>
Below snippet works fine , but material style is not applied on it :
<div class='datetime-conatiner'> <mat-label>Choose a date <input matInput [owlDateTime]="dt1"> <span class="trigger" [owlDateTimeTrigger]="dt1"> <mat-icon style="margin-top: 10px;">calendar_today</mat-icon> </span> <owl-date-time #dt1></owl-date-time> </mat-label> </div>
I am trying to getting this kind of design :
I am using Mat-Accordion (Angular Material 10.2.2). I am adding togglePosition input attribute and I set it to "before" but the arrow is still after.
That icon arrow should be before and not after.
Does anybody know why this setting is not applying it?
But the important bit is the binding to the color attribute
This is of course the Angular Material way to set color, you could of course use css and a custom class or something, or css on a pseudo selector. But buttons dont act like toggles, there is no "active" state to them. You might also consider mat-button-togglehttps://material.angular.io/components/button-toggle/overview
I've a form like this, what would you suggest to create group of fields like that I've highlighted in compliance with Material Design
Forgive this question if it's inappropriate for this channel, but what npm lib would "you" pick for a rich text component ?
Hi there, I have a button inside a dialog that enable reactive form if clicked, How can I store this event after dialog close, so If I reopen dialog the form is still enabled?
Hi there I can update data in mat dialog without close it?
Using Subject u can try
Inside a dialog have a task status that display a value get from a REST API (the task status is: Ready) and a button ('start task'). On click 'start task' I need to change task status value, so I need to get the new REST API response, get task status 'In progress' and display it in Dialog, without close it...
there are other way apart from Subject?
ha that's possible with Subject, in ur service file u make that varibale as string nd that varibale can be shared by both ur component whn u r calling that api d ur dialog component
