i have an ngRepeat that shows a progress bar for each f in fileUploadList. i'd like the full progress bar to stay in the DOM so that i can add another class to do a css transition. but the progress bars get removed once the file is uploaded

Starting out with ngMaterial, ran into an issue: ng-click stops working across the entire application after a bottom sheet is closed. Known bug?
Nelo Mitranim
@Mitranim
Okay on second examination it's not just ng-click, all digest events stop working
I've never seen third party code (in this case ngMaterial) to be able to so thoroughly break angular

Question. Is there any kind of "responsive iframe embed" in Angular Material?
well nevermind just copied the bootstrap solution

upgrading to 0.10 just makes all of my content disapear??
oh boy.
Dave Ackerman
@dmackerman
0.10 makes my app really buggy, sadly

is it possible to put an md-input-container in a tab row somehow?
in an md-tab row*
Klaus Dahlén
@nanuuki
@steezeburger I think not. Well you can, but then it'll act as a tab label - which is probably not you're after.

Hi guys, I'm new to angular and find this library awesome..
Lately I working on laravel website with bootstrap based template
my question is, is there any Laravel+Angular material seed project that maybe can help me to start with?
Elad Bezalel
@EladBezalel
@martindavid i don't think so..
but it's VERY simple to use angular material
You should find lavarel+angular seed project (dunno if exist) and after that in your app.js
change to this angular.module('myApp', ['ngMaterial'])

@martindavid
I'm still struggle to make separation between controller, services and factory.
That's why if there is any template maybe I can learn from it.. Btw, thanks for the information

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to implement an input with md-autocomplete. I want to show/hide an element below the input when I get/loose the focus on the autocomplete input. Using ng-focus/ng-blur or onfocus/onblur directives on the md-autocomplete element doesn't trigger any function calls. Is there a way to to call a function when the input is gets/looses focus?

Hello, is there a good mdDialog example with form and locals?

That's what I've been looking for too...

Hello Everyone. We’re working on a university project with angular material. Sadly (as expected, but it still has to work) IE is making a lot of trouble

Has anyone had experience with putting a Select / List / DateInput into a <div layout=“row”></div> and then applying e.g. flex=“25”to the contained md-select?
I made a codepen to show the problem (you need to open it with a current IE)

Hey material-ninjas, does anyone have the same issue with md-contact-chips? I've got this TypeError: $scope.textChange is not a function error. I guess autocomplete is the problem here. I'm on 1.4.1 and use material version 0.10.0
<md-contact-chips
    ng-model="members"
    md-contacts="querySearch($query)"
    md-contact-name="fullname"
    md-contact-email="email"
    md-contact-image="image"
    filter-selected="true"
    md-require-match
    placeholder="To">
</md-contact-chips>
I've tried to catch the $query in my controller which didn't work and even the console.log didn't fire…
Pascal Brokmeier
@pascalwhoop
nevermind, I found the issue is already being tracked

Rares Golea
@rgolea
can mdchips and mdautocomplete have max items?
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
I dont think so. Never seen something like that. If you want to have a limit i think you have to limit it in your controller first
Dave Ackerman
@dmackerman
anyone found a good way to limit the “height” of textarea to be the same as inputs? I need an expanding textarea, but don’t want the min-height to be more than one line.

@gauravsaini03
How we can have a global autocomplete (rather than writing filter, and all code in every controller for using it on different screens) ?
Like, I have a autocomplete for cities which fetch cities from APIs, rather than writing all the code (that is given in codepen example) on all controller, I am thinking to have it at common place and just get the selected value of it in all controllers and use it
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
How about writing a factory/service and inject it wherever you need it?
Whenever I work with API’s I use factories…
Gaurav Saini
@gauravsaini03
Shouldn't we use service for APIs ? or Factories are recommended anywhere ?
I think we can try with this and calling a serviceFor it
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
Yeah, basically it doesn’t really matter what are you rely on… factories / services are mostly the same. I use factories, mostly if there is a model related to it (e.g. Users), services are great for some easy ReST calls. But I think you can handle it however you like… :smile:
Dave Ackerman
@dmackerman
@gauravsaini03 you could just wrap that autocomplete in a directive, use a service for the shared data.
Gaurav Saini
@gauravsaini03
auto-complete itself is a directive ! I am not sure how to do that, can you give me some example ?
Dave Ackerman
@dmackerman
sure is.
