@emps
and in docs no any word about this plz any update docs ..
Dave Ackerman
@dmackerman
I kinda feel like you shouldn’t have to write your own filter function for autocomplete.
Dave Ackerman
@dmackerman
for whatever reason I can’t get the entire list of entries to display like they do in the docs
when the autocomplete is focused.
Dave Ackerman
@dmackerman
in fact, no event even gets fired when the field is focused like it does in the docs. :rage:
Dave Ackerman
@dmackerman
filed an issue here: angular/material#4095

@psolidgold
Hi all. Does anyone know if there is a high level roadmap for releases up to 1.0?
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
Anyone updated to latest v0.10.1 already?
Iure
@iures
Just want to give the team props for the gulp build process. Learned a lot by looking at the source code. Good job!
Dave Ackerman
@dmackerman
@psolidgold: nothing is really set ijn stone, but the milestones view in github issues is a pretty good overview
Patrick
@psolidgold
@dmackerman: yeah saw that. thanks. we're trying to figure out if we can start using angular material in hopes that the project will be stable by the time we launch :)

Hi all, I have just finished my project structure (ERP) with Style Guide jhon papa (hotTowell) https://github.com/johnpapa/generator-hottowel.
my project is big, and I would like to have more performance views, what I recommend you wait for the migration of angular 2 to change my views with reactJS?
losorio35
@losorio35
??
losorio35
@losorio35
my English is bad, what I know is that you recommend?
expect the migration of angular 2?
or work with reactJS my views?
losorio35
@losorio35

@imjakechapman
Is there a reason my install of angular-material is putting 15 <style type="text/css"> tags in my head? How can you prevent this when referencing the bower's .css file for material?
Jake Chapman
@imjakechapman
Hey @psolidgold... ;)
Stexxen
@Stexxen
@imjakechapman whats the reason that this is a problem?
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
Has anyone ever used ng-file-upload especially the drag/drop feature?
Gaurav Saini
@gauravsaini03

I am having problem rendering 2000+ results in autocomplete ! Actually, I load it first time from server and then whenever I open the autosuggest it take 1-2 sec to open app and freezes for a while !

Is it due to the amount of data ?

Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
Are those large objects?
Gaurav Saini
@gauravsaini03
2800 object like this
{
"name": "abhayapuri ",
"first": "Abhayapuri , Assam",
"city": "Abhayapuri ",
"state": "Assam"
},
in an array
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
Hm, that’s not much.
Gaurav Saini
@gauravsaini03
I just feel like, its too much. As, actually on first go when focus is made on the input field in autocomplete, (dropdown open to render all of those)
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
But thats easy to test… is it working flawless with ~1000 objects?
Gaurav Saini
@gauravsaini03
@pfinkbeiner Making a plnkr for that
Let me check
codepen giving request entry too large :(
Let me try on my local
Gaurav Saini
@gauravsaini03
When you focus on the box first time it takes 1-2 secs to open up that box
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
Hm, sorry I’m not sure how to deal with that delay. You can try to use that simulate query thing to avoid users feel uncomfortable.
r3dius
@r3dius
Hi, I'm a new user of material angular and try to start with the getstarted example . but does not work ... hello world is displayed when I delete md-sidenav.. any idea about this ? thnx
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
Can you show use some code?
… or does your console (browser) throw any exceptions?
r3dius
@r3dius
no exceptions at all ..
Do you need my html file ?
Patrick Finkbeiner
@pfinkbeiner
You can paste your stuff (js, css, html) into a http://codepen.io/
if you uncomment div layout=row flex, helloworld will not be displayed anymore. If you comment just md-sidenav , helloworl will be displayed
Patrick
@psolidgold
@r3dius it just looks like the sidenav is stuck open and covering hello world
the hello world text is just underneath it
Your pen doesn't have your JS in it either
Which would be why the nav is not working in this case.
r3dius
@r3dius
ok thank you @psolidgold ! :smile:
r3dius
@r3dius
and I made a mistake in my js code...

Hi, thought it would be fun to make the contact elements clickable here, so using auto-complete or just clicking a contact would add a chip to the auto-complete items. Works okay, but try to add four or five, seven or eight, (anything where mod 3 > 0) and ng-repeat seems to fail (scroll down in the pen). http://codepen.io/dotComb/pen/EjJroK

Hi everyone, I want to know if angular material design is good enough in performance for production environments?
