you can see the md-content styles, but not the layout column or layout-padding
on the right
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
yep. that's also been driving me nuts, none of the styles are showing up in the style explorer
flex styles don't show up there either
Emmanuel Hayford
@siaw23
Michael Prentice
@Splaktar
uh oh
have you tried 0.11.0?
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
(if me, yes)
Michael Prentice
@Splaktar
i think that will eliminate most of this issue with md-css-only
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
I can try again though.
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
@Splaktar - still having the same problems on 0.11.0
Michael Prentice
@Splaktar
yep, i think that i see the issue
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
what'd you find?
Michael Prentice
@Splaktar
your JS isn’t processing the layout attributes into class values
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
nod
what could cause that to happen?
Michael Prentice
@Splaktar
they shouldn’t show up in the browser as layout=“column”, it should be class=“layout-column"
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
right. I was seeing that as well on the a/m site
maybe browserify is breaking something?
Michael Prentice
@Splaktar
could be
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
mm, that'd be kinda annoying - if that were the case I'd have to move all of my angular deps to bower so I can get the build process working in the right order
or, well, I guess I could just change the build process to hit these guys via npm and not use import
I'll give it a go and let you know if it works again
Michael Prentice
@Splaktar
is your build pulling in angular-aria and angular-animate?
those are required and i don’t see them in the imports
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
it is not
that didn't change anything though
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
wow
it appears to be working... and it seems browserify is to blame
moved everything to one concat'd file, it works again
(all the libraries, that is)
thanks a ton @Splaktar - you saved my sanity
Michael Prentice
@Splaktar
np, maybe just an ordering issue, but certainly something with the JS processing
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
yeah.. not sure what it is, but I'm not going to try to figure out why. it's strange - sometimes it would work, and sometimes it wouldn't. so, one time I restarted gulp, and all of a sudden it broke again.
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
so, I had another strange issue: http://i.imgur.com/8MUwFpf.png -- my icons are horribly off-center. I'm not using md-icon (couldn't get it to work) so I'm using ng-md-icon instead, if that makes a difference.
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
seems it's ok to just do ng-md-icon svg { transform: translate3d(0, 25%, 0); }
Kyle J. Kemp
@seiyria
Is there a demo of using the FAB toolbar in an md-list?
Jorge Cortes
@jcortes
Hello anyone knows how to use md-select with field required and ng-messages to validate if an option has been choosen?
Paul Bailey
@pizzapanther
@jcortes the demo for that component has a validation example: https://material.angularjs.org/latest/#/demo/material.components.select
Jorge Cortes
@jcortes
@pizzapanther thanks

Hi there I want to have an dialog open on clicking terms and conditions link on a webpage
how can I achieve that in angular layout ?
Paul Bailey
@pizzapanther
Cemre Çevik
@nolines
hi there , i have an jquery and angularjs mix project . it is really big project, and i want to use angular material or lumx on these. i like lumx multiselects and other form demos but angular material has many other options to use component variately. can someone tell me which is the best practice for projects like mine?
Paul Bailey
@pizzapanther
you've just stumbled upon the eternal programmers dilemma , "which frameworks to choose?"
Best thing is to just choose one
i'm partial to Angular Material of course
but maybe test one out for a couple days, often times I'm able to see pretty quickly which one is for me after using it for a couple days
