@pfinkbeiner
@e1d I’m using the 0.11.0 material and it works as expected…

Hello everyone. Just one quick question: is there any sort of public information and/or roadmap for angular material?

            <div layout="row" style="position:absolute; bottom: 0; right: 0">

@lorthirk
@sunnynegi it's not great that you're still bumping to get an answer. anyway, you're not putting any <img /> in that code, how is that supposed to show an image?
sunny
@sunnynegi
yup i know that but i try and not work
Claudio Mezzasalma
@lorthirk
what are you trying, then?
sunny
@sunnynegi
see the above image i want to make something like that
with grid
Claudio Mezzasalma
@lorthirk
again: what have you tried, what are you getting, and why is this different from your desired result?
you see, you should at least show us that you're trying to solve your own problems, instead of asking us to do this for you.
sunny
@sunnynegi
@Lorthirk actually i am trying to show the image with text.
here is my code
<md-grid-list md-cols-sm="8" md-cols-md="16" md-cols-lg="24" md-cols-gt-lg="32" md-row-height="2:2" md-gutter="12px" md-gutter-gt-sm="8px">
    <md-grid-tile class="blue" md-rowspan="4" md-colspan="8" md-colspan-sm="8" md-colspan-md="12" md-colspan-lg="24">

        <div layout="row" layout-align="centre center" style="width: 91%; height: 100%; margin:0;">
            <p style="color:white;">Credit</p>
           </div>
        <md-grid-tile-footer>
            <h3>View More</h3>
            <div layout="row" style="position:absolute; bottom: 0; right: 0">
                <md-button md-no-ink class="md-primary" >View</md-button>
            </div>
        </md-grid-tile-footer>
    </md-grid-tile>

    <md-grid-tile class="red" md-rowspan="4" md-colspan="8" md-colspan-sm="8" md-colspan-md="12" md-colspan-lg="24">
        <div layout="row" layout-align="centre centre" style="width: 91%; height: 100%; margin:0;">
            <p style="color:white;"> </p>
           </div>
    </md-grid-tile>

    <md-grid-tile class="green" md-rowspan="4" md-colspan="8" md-colspan-sm="8" md-colspan-md="12" md-colspan-lg="24">
        <div layout="row" layout-align="centre centre" style="width: 91%; height: 100%; margin:0;">
            <p style="color:white;">  </p>
           </div>
    </md-grid-tile>

    <md-grid-tile class="yellow" md-rowspan="4" md-colspan="8" md-colspan-sm="8" md-colspan-md="12" md-colspan-lg="24">
        <div layout="row" layout-align="centre centre" style="width: 91%; height: 100%; margin:0;">
            <p style="color:white;"> </p>
           </div>
    </md-grid-tile>
Claudio Mezzasalma
@lorthirk
why aren't you using simply angular-material flex approach?
maybe i'm wrong, but a md-grid seems to be a little overkill in your scenario
sunny
@sunnynegi
any reason for it
jmls
@jmls
is there anyway of changing the background for an input in a toolbar ?
Claudio Mezzasalma
@lorthirk
well, you could get the result you want in 5 lines of code instead of 20, in the first place
easier to read and to mantain, cleaner...
sunny
@sunnynegi
ok great
actually i am trying to make simple dashboard
That contain four box i am not trying flex approch

@jmls
I am trying the get the body of a tab to scroll when there is too much data. The idea is that the tab takes up the height of the page, and the content scrolls . I have a plunker (forked from another example) at http://codepen.io/anon/pen/PPKQKa?editors=101 which shows the problem in tab 1
jmls
@jmls
does anyone know of a "bootstrap pills" component in material ?
Daniel Acuña
@moustacheful
jmls
@jmls
@moustacheful : thanks, but I don't want the x on a chip, but a static chip can't be selected. I've got round it in the meantime by having a column of buttons that changes class to "md-raised md-primary" when a button is selected
jmls
@jmls
ok, next question is regarding boxes , rows , layout and wraps ;)
given this code:
blob
when I have lots of items, I get
blob
but when I have only a couple of items, this happens:
blob

hello. is anyone having problems with tabs and 0.11.4? i see white text on white tab background for active tabs...
i know there is a breaking change about themes, but applying md-theme="default" as suggested not only doesn't fix the problem, but it actually makes it worse
