Is there anyway to disable the zoom on the dialog service?
I changed the styling to be a side slide out bar and the zoom makes it look weird sliding in
looks like the zoom function is on line 5050
@MilosStanic do you have a fiddle, i can tell you why if I can see it
Miloš Stanić
@MilosStanic
@mcwebdev Thanks, I figured it out... one of the containing divs (way way up the dom tree) had md-default-theme which was screwing up the input div

Does anybody have experience with this book? Its the Node,Mongo,Angular by Dayley. http://bklf.us/cp
Joe Ferrucci
@JoeFerrucci
^ I just want to know if its a good one, or if there is something else out there. I have some experience with the MEAN stack, but I want a book that will take me further.

I'd like to use dynamically generated SVG in a button. Is there a good way I can accomplish this?
Joe Ferrucci
@JoeFerrucci
Maybe checkout Holder.js -

hello I need to do a web page with one toolbar at top, one sidenav on the left, and one view on the rest, how can i put the layouts and flex for this? (I'm a newbie with angular sorry mans)
Matthew Makaio Davis
@appsoa
@jcm169 http://codepen.io/appsoa/pen/vNrVMP should get you started at least
add something like <myapp></myapp> in the html body .. then bootstrap('myapp') to crank up angular
Though it's Semantic UI .. it uses flex box as well
jcm169
@jcm169
but with layouts and flex how can I do this
Diego Aguilar Aguilar
@diegoaguilar
hello, is there any known book or tutorial series advised for starting with Angular materials
docs are good but I need some more guide and explanation on distinct topics
I'm not a front end fan but want to improve my work by using angular material
Matthew Makaio Davis
@appsoa
Don't stigmatise yourself with "material" .. that's just decoration .. the other 99.99% is angular ;)
Diego Aguilar Aguilar
@diegoaguilar
@appsoa I may agree but I somehow would like any lecture
Matthew Makaio Davis
@appsoa
@diegoaguilar What have you gotten to so far?
Diego Aguilar Aguilar
@diegoaguilar
@appsoa you mean what I've achieved or what resources Ive found
Matthew Makaio Davis
@appsoa
#1 miss is adding your <myapp></myapp> dom element to the body before you call bootstrap() heh

I have built a product with Angular Material. Is there any "built with angular material" list somewhere?
If you are interested in testing the platform I could send you beta links. It is a platform that ranks github developers worldwide.

Hi is there a way to implement two line header/footer in grid list as described in material design spec
David Shure
@david4shure
Is it possible to make a navbar without having to define the layout="column" on the <body> element. I am trying to put my header into its own subview, so having to use the <body> element is kind of a deal breaker, since I need to define my ui-views inside that element as well. Really I need to conditionally hide the navbar depending on if a user is logged in or not.
The only way I could get the navbar set to a full height was to define the layout="column" attribute on the body element

Todd Werelius
@Todd-Werelius
@david4shure I must be missing something, why not just hide the navbar with something like ng-hide="user.loggedin"
Todd Werelius
@Todd-Werelius
@sarod Manually yes, but they don't have very good support for the spec right now, you can do this yourself though through styling. This should work for you, styles are in the header ( not optimized ) and markup in place for the 6 options that the standard lays out http://codepen.io/Mopholo/pen/KdrJyx?editors=100. Your other option is to completely fill the tile with your own container and create your own markup.
Todd Werelius
@Todd-Werelius
@sarod I filed an issue at angular/material#5679

@Todd-Werelius Thanks I'll look at your demo

Hi guys, I am trying to use angular chart.js and I end up in situation, where no graph is rendered, while it seems to be initialized.

    <canvas id="activity-chart" class="chart chart-line" chart-data="[1,2,3]"
            chart-labels="['a', 'b', 'c']" chart-legend="true"
            chart-series="['activity']">
    </canvas>

This is my simple test, is there anything wrong?
