I forgot to close my laptop last night, and sometimes the cats sit on it when I do that because warm. Somehow they managed to turn the screen brightness all the way down. It's a two button combination to do that!

you're welcome ;) so you just need to port it over to wherever you need it
i've added itemstack de/encoding which is not supported by the ingame chat (why?)
lye @lye shrugs
pretty sure it worked at one point, I remember people pinging stacks of eternities

@codemasher
Jan 20 2016 20:12
you can ping them, but if you paste an item chatcode with a full itemstack it won't display infusions AFAIR
i think i even reported that as bug at one point

Jan 20 2016 20:26
Infusions are never displayed
Which is quite annoying when you attempt to explain AR to someone
Nabrok
@Nabrok
Jan 20 2016 20:30
AR is annoying to explain at all
It doesn't help that there's two types of infusions both called infusions but work differently
windwarrior
@windwarrior
Jan 20 2016 20:33
... and most sensinle infusions are of the versatile kind which slot into everything EXCEPT agony infusion slots

itemization in gw2 has clearly gotten out of hand :o
I swear I need to be more careful when going through the whitelist: https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/41tru5/is_this_a_new_wvw_infusion_if_so_how_do_we_get_it/

No, but I got a relocation package, so there's that.
Nabrok
@Nabrok
Jan 20 2016 20:47
I've had a work from home job for over 10 years. It's awesome.
@Coffee4cr I'm not sure which team that's for (maybe analytics?) but expect MSSQL (and potentially Tableau/Vertica/? if it's analytics)
Edgar Doiron
@Coffee4cr
Jan 20 2016 20:48

Edgar Doiron

Jan 20 2016 20:50
haha
The worst are entry-level jobs that require that and the ability to communicate efficiently.
Like I have time to both grind and talk to people.
Nabrok
@Nabrok
Jan 20 2016 20:51
I guess I'm lucky, I skipped a lot of that. Had an entry level job and got promoted to data processing and then into programming.

I started as an analyst, doing functional documents for the programmers to code. But every programmer I was assigned too sucked ass and I stayed later to correct all their shit
I've been coding ever since :P

When I was in DP all the programming was done off-site in one of the other offices. I'd expressed an interest in it though, and one day out of the blue the guy who programmed for that office quit (no warning), and I had the job a week or two later.
