there's a backend component which reads logs from the game servers and relays them around -- there wasn't an instance running in the EU datacenter
I ... lemmie see if the EU instance of that component is running

Is there a reason the old events api (the one that showed every event on a map) couldn't be reactivated taking ip as a parameter (which the user can get with /ip)?
There can be multiple shards running the same map on the same ip

I think it's a sockaddr_in or sockaddr_in6 which is annoying

well I queried all the ID's incategory 88 and they are there, also the daily scales
it lists 5 achievements
which is what is also ingame

Yeah, but I'd have to manually maintain a list of symbol->id mappings for each achievement category
the dailies are kind of gross in that there's a hardcoded mapping in content which I just piggyback off

So, I noticed my system was off when comparing last_flipped to client time and objectives were being flipped 10 seconds into the future. Turns out time.windows.com is the default for most windows installations and according to google hasn't worked for about 7 years.
I have no idea which NTP pool our domain controller is pulling from, but the times should be correct relative to one another.
Maybe I should add /v2/time

Yeah, it all worked out when I changed the NTP server to something that works.
I think there's still a weird issue with the pvp game times though

Seems only specific paths are having issues. /v2/achievements, /v2/achievements/categories returning 502. /v2/build is still safe.

I'm looking into it
due to the architecture of some backend components, the API flakes out a bit when we push gw2 hotfixes and stuff
the intermittent failures should resolve themselves as some services come back online
@Nabrok hmm, so I didn't think about this, but the kill/death counters are accumulated in-memory, so when the backend servers get restarted (e.g., due to hotfix) they're purged.
I need to serialize out those values I think.
It's super annoying but the aggregate scores from /v2/wvw/matches should be correct, though the ppt/ppk breakdown will probably be wrong for awhile :(
The good news is that kill/death counters for EU matchups are now being piped through correctly :D
