@lye Uhm... when did all the item details.type of spears switch from Harpoon to Spear? D:
windwarrior
@windwarrior

well its a spear alright
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Jun 24 2016 11:49
maybe because i mentioned last time the weirdness of spears/harpoons and harpoon guns/spearguns?
but that was just the names though

ugh, that british votum sucks
@queicherius uhhhhhhhhhh probably a couple months ago
I should probably fix that
which endpoint is that for? /v2/items?
Well this is terrifying -- world 2206 is in two matches simultaneously, according to the API

@lye :fire:
Sounds like a prime candidate for a friday 5pm push
did we change the EU shard merges?
I guess I should just read the configs
umm
Eearslya Sleiarion
@Eearslya
Jun 24 2016 19:57

umm

Oh, boy, here comes the fun

did we announce any shard merge changes
well this is exciting
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Jun 24 2016 20:02
not that i know of
my wvw guild would otherwise be more talkative than they are now
I don't know if the NA ones changed, but I think the EU ones did
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Jun 24 2016 20:03
oh nvm
Vizunah Square & Arborstone & Fort Ranik (FR)
:fire:
I updated my configs which are a copy of the game server configs
I ... wonder if the fix for the backend bug that I was working around made it to live yet
otherwise I'm gonna be here late waiting to see if NA shard merges change too :<
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Jun 24 2016 20:05
what bug? auto updating the links?
the wvw backend server was flushing both NA and EU merges on both NA and EU resets iirc
so I just overrode what was coming off the backend server with a hardcoded list thinking it wouldn't change for awhile
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Jun 24 2016 20:06
oh, that one that caused the trippy api server some time ago? :P
literally all of the api servers are trippy
i am not a skilled programmer
i am simply filled with determination
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Jun 24 2016 20:06
good enough :)
the wvw linking will change every 2 months now iirc
so i think you can assume NA will change too
so..... late night? :<
nah NA reset is 7PM local time

anyway presumably past lye fixed the flush bug and it's on live now and I can remove the config and it'll automatically update
Archomeda

:fire: :fire: :fire:
can't you check if it got merged?
and released into live?
first need to check if I fixed it
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Jun 24 2016 20:10
:D
oh right, it's all coming back to me now
there was no way to fix this because the "match over" message doesn't indicate which datacenter it's from

I'm still happy I managed to write a cronjob for my server to update my letsencrypt certs and e-mail me the results
No infernos yet

certbot renew --rsa-key-size 4096 | mail -s "naga.sleiarion.net CertBot" -r cron -a "From: Naga CRON <cron@naga.sleiarion.net>" eearslya@gmail.com
the mail is a good idea, I should add that in
I think letsencrypt.sh only emits with --cron if there's an error which is useful
though I'd have to turn on sendmail's outbound bits
Eearslya Sleiarion
@Eearslya
Jun 24 2016 20:19
I used mail instead of sendmail because it allowed me to customize the From: header
ah I'd just set MAILTO=lye@whatever.com in the previous line and let cron figure out the details
but sendmail needs to be running to pick the mail up from the spool and deliver it
(e.g., sendmail_msp_queue and sendmail_outbound need to be enabled -- I turned them off because meh)
Eearslya Sleiarion
@Eearslya
Jun 24 2016 20:22
I honestly thought mail just did a raw SMTP connection; I have no idea how mail works in linux honestly D:
Then again you use BSD so I'm even more in the dark about how it works
