cannot.unsee, 2h weapons have 251 main stat/179 secondary stat, 1h weapon have 125 main stat/90 secondary stat
so if you have a 2h weapon you actually have 1 more mainstat, and 2x 1 less secondary stat

the API lists coefficients for example beserkers, 0.35 power, 0.25 prec/feroc
so there is a magic value somewhere, it doesnt seem to be weapon strenght or so

and that's why greatsword is greatest.
I'd probably go with weird rounding errors

yeah same
but I cant seem to find a sensible relation between stats <--> major/minor stats <--> weapon strength <--> rarity
how does efficiency do this, I cant seem to find enough information to calculate the real stats from a stat selectable item
ChieftainAlex

could use lookup tables based on the wiki's ones

(in case you're not aware, the wiki takes the rarity, level, prefix + converts it into major/minor stats + weapon str

but thats no formula? just a big item rarity * stats lookup matrix
Archomeda
@Archomeda

individual items have their stats explicitly mentioned: https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/items/46762
but otherwise, i dunno
windwarrior
@windwarrior
Jan 30 2017 18:34 UTC
yeah but the Lava Skull Back doesnt https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/items?ids=79463
ChieftainAlex
@ChieftainAlex

so the real question is, what's the context for converting level / rarity /type into your application?

and finding incosistencies in items

/wiki [&AgFnNgEA]
like everyone else then
not sure max/min druid is concerned about the 1h/2h difference in stats :D

cus I like hovering traits

the api also explicitly states the stats for owned items that have their stats selected (output from one of my characters in /v2/characters/:id):
  "equipment": [
    {
      "id": 77474,
      "slot": "Backpack",
      "infusions": [
        49432,
        49432
      ],
      "skin": 7004,
      "stats": {
        "id": 584,
        "attributes": {
          "Power": 63,
          "Precision": 40,
          "CritDamage": 40
        }
      },
      "binding": "Account"
    },
    ...
  ]

hey, gotta have that perfect 100% crit chance
oh right

@windwarrior
Jan 30 2017 18:43 UTC
also I was confused by qT's power druid build, because an attempt was made to min-max it, but I dont think they succeeded :(

dutch voting system to be compromisable again
can't we create a system with some sort of blockchain technology to make a cryptographically secure and undeniably correct voting system nowadays

@werdes When you said that I had to go check for the Kite Vendor. sigh One day it will return. And I will buy a kite.

I must retract my statement, qT did optimise for crit chance, they are missing 1 point in S/A or 2 poins in LB in crit chance
@windwarrior you'd need a secure way to uniquely authenticate things per-person, e.g. some sort of asymmetric biometric cryptography or attached embedded chip
You can put them on ID cards or whatever but I'm not sure that won't be broken just as easily.

Make a voting system out of git
Every vote is a commit
SHA sums sort out the correctness
Sure but then I just submit 1 trillion votes for myself
You need a way to authenticate that (1) the person is allowed to vote, and (2) the person has voted no more than once
Oh, and ideally without knowing which person voted for what.

I think its pretty hard
a bit depending on what can be compromised

Honestly the only thing coming to mind is giving every registered voter a code
Unique to them
Does anyone know the rate for 401-500?
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Jan 30 2017 21:49 UTC
maybe also 4%?
i know that the cxp required curve ends at 400
wouldn't surprise me if that's also the case for xp gained
