i wonder if I could turn off all the css for that website + throw a new set together.
hell switching all the css off apart from leaflet is an improvement.

couldn't he just have the map fill the window, and let you scroll to beneath it using scrollbars to all the settings?

That would be too easy

you probably have a day of work just sifting through the html
but seriously, the website is a complete mess; i hope the creator understands, but judging by his response, he doesn't
makes me want to create a similar website... but, i cba

plus i still have to rma my ssd and once i get that back, reinstall windows again -_-
maybe after all that i can think of creating a similar website

i can set it up to have it dual-boot linux, but if only something exists to instantly swap to it without having to restart my whole pc; that would be great

I was brought up on MacOS, it's kinda part of me by now haha, still wouldn't use their phones or anything mind, but OSX is a really nice solid desktop OS with all the UNIXy goodness

running Arch Linux on a daily basis, have no big issue with it at all
Darrian
@rikkuness
Mar 27 2017 11:38 UTC
yeah Arch always seemed cool :) in work I daily dev on CentOS 7 and it's fine, tbh I've run Linux on the desktop for maybe 10-15 years on and off, I was gonna put it on my macbook when I bought that but osx just works a charm
I was at Dockercon in 2015 and I'm looking around like shiiiiiit 98% of the people sat here developing are using macbook pros and I was sat there on a knackered old Toughbook running Fedora with a 15 minute battery life haha, so I walked out the con and into the San Francisco Apple store and walked out with my macbook pro
that hipster life xD

I spent most of my university life defending why I ended up using Arch Linux over other linux distros/other POSIX compatible open source systems and especially over MacOS
but I think at some point I will budge and buy a 12" MB
because I am sick and tired of a big laptop
just waiting for that 12" model to mature a bit, and not be super crippled by its compromises

currently using a macbook pro 2015 13.4''
its perfect
12'' is a little too small in my opinion

dito, I use the same one
I switched from a extremely heavy laptop ("schlepptop") with about 30m battery life
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Mar 27 2017 11:50 UTC
my laptop had a battery life of 6-8 hours for the first few months after i bought it
of course it went down pretty fast
but still after 4 years, the battery life was about 1h
and then my laptop died altogether because of boot loop issues
powered on -> lights spring to life -> 1s later turned itself off again -> 3s later turned itself on again -> 1s later turned inself off again -> etc
can't even get to bios because the screen just stays black; it doesn't even get that far booting up :')

@windwarrior

meh, I dont want to work extensively on any size smaller then 24"
so whether my laptop is 12" or 13.3" or 15.4" or 17", its all too small anyway
better have a light and easy to move around 12" then :>

just make all runes buyable at vendors for a hard price of 5g.
