does v1 events list preceding and following events for an event chain?
oh, it's disabled anyway, nvm

That was shut down when mega-servers became a thing.

yeah, but for some reason I thought there was a remnant somewhere of it
I feel like there was still a way to at least lookup the event names and such... hmmmm

@darqam, out of interest, why did you want to know chain/before/after events?

also, pretty sure it's impossible for @lye to even add that to a potential events endpoint, since chained events are most likely triggered by scripts

the more I've been in this gitter, the more I've heard "oh god this thing is done with scripts it's gonna be a pain to expose"

honestly seems like GW2 could do with less scripts for optimization XD

well tbf, most things that are supposedly relatively easy to expose, are done already
it's probably more like, well we have a base that can be used by anyone, but let's add scripting for custom things
and then everyone does things by a script since the base support can't handle it
and then later it gets natively added to the engine, but no one wants to go back and change it to the newly added feature
but i can't blame them for that really
i wouldn't want to go back and change it myself either :P
