Lye be busy.
The APIs have been a labor of love for Lye since the beginning.
Now we're looking internally to see how we can distribute the work load amongst the gameplay programmers.
Lye wrote up some great docs - now I need to organize some peeps.
I hope we don't have devs puking out API results. !

Thank you for telling us what's going on. It has been great in the past that we could be involved in the development of the API, by suggesting endpoints we need and discuss output formats before stuff was released. I hope we can continue that in the future, and devs look here and on GitHub regularly while working on the API.

hmm, just a thought for the wiki; seeing that there are more and more historical vendors (e.g. on the Candy Corn Cob page), is it maybe useful to separate them on a different page that automatically resolves, just like what's done with the "Show base ingredients" for various items? @ChieftainAlex
sorry that i often put wiki related things here, but personally i don't like the discussion pages and find chatting easier

Also @SCDubs, unsure if it's actually possible, but if there's anything we can do to help, I'm sure there are people here who'll gladly lend you a hand

for its internal services, but i guess it could come in handy for the integrated dynamic dns too

:point_up: December 14, 2017 3:28 PM no idea what you're describing sorry :D
first bit - more historical vendors - yeah i get
"is it maybe useful to separate them on a different page that automatically resolves" ??.
are you suggesting just create a historical vendor subpage or something/

@ChieftainAlex oh sorry, i was referring to the "Show base ingredients" page like this one, that's visible from this page
so yeah, basically a subpage that you don't have to maintain yourself since it's a query
or maybe change the template that allows showing/hiding the historical parts, i dunno
that last one might be easier now that i think about it
Archomeda
@Archomeda
Dec 14 2017 22:15
the last one allows you doing stuff like this:
    Items | Costs | Plus whatever columns there are
=============|=======|=================================
 Some item A | ..... | ...
 Some item B | ..... | ...
 Some item C | ..... | ...
   ↓ *show historical* ↓

{{vendor table|currency = Candy Corn Cob|include historical vendors=n}}
Archomeda

Dec 14 2017 22:22
i don't have enough wiki knowledge to know what is behind the scenes
ChieftainAlex
@ChieftainAlex
Dec 14 2017 22:22
wouldn't be too hard to generate a form link if you set it to hide historical ones
so basically the second table on https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2_Wiki:Sandbox would appear on a separate page

@ChieftainAlex
