as for matching the terrain closely, it's not 100% accurate, but it's close enough and since it's an overlay without any depth testing it's not noticable

oh, welcome back
btw, regarding wvw, if you come across people that either don't want to read the post, or don't get it, WP made a video about it too
argh, this really itches me to create a massive wvw discord server that automatically sorts people into proper groups etc... 🤔
where can i find volunteers to moderate salty wvw players? haha

foreach (player p in population) { ban(p); }
(totally not serious, in case that's not obvious ;-) )

oh well, in case anyone finds other people that want such a server as well for when (if) the wvw changes go live, and maybe help it moderate, i'd love to build and manage a bot for such a discord server
i don't know if integrating it into an existing discord server is better than starting from scratch; but as was mentioned before about an EU server having quite the name already... yeah

EU wvw matches endpoint is behind again
2-1 seems to not count new points, deaths, etc
2-2 seems fine
2-3 still has the old matchup
2-4 seems fine
2-5 still has the old matchup
give it a few minutes maybe

hopefully ^^
i'm currently trying to get a proof of concept working for the discord bot i mentioned before, so i was monitoring the wvw matches endpoint :P

anyone have any idea what the title of that graph is talking about?
something to do with PHP processes being handled

FPM is a process manager - takes care of spawning PHP workers and giving them queries to process

Apparently some JS I wrote years ago causes the spikes -_-

Is the JS requesting a webpage that uses php?

It refreshes the page when a 1 hour window has expired + makes an API call to the same server fetching other information. At least I think that's why it spikes
unfortunately all users refresh at the same time because it's badly written, hence the surge
a dumb setup I'm rewriting.

The interesting question to me, having only been provided with that screenshot, would be whether an estimate of visitors per day could be concluded from it

@lye EU matchups are now working properly again
i think it took give or take 45-60 minutes for 2-1 to start counting deaths, kills, etc and for 2-3 and 2-5 to swap to their new matchups
this is going to blow up
@Archomeda yay
