I am curious to know if there are any plans to create self-describing documentation for the api?
At my company we make use of wadl and swagger annotations to provide easy to interpret and predictable api documentation
Has this ever been discussed here? :)
its apparantly hard to do ^^
@lye, is it possible that the skills api is not up to date yet?
might be cache related, give it a bit

oh sure ^^!
it gave me false hope that alacrity changes were not that bad :O

naming things and caching right

caching is trivial
cache invalidation is hard ;-)

There are two hard things in computer science: cache invalidation, naming things, and off-by-one errors.

off-by-one errors are not hard at all
they are literally off-by-one

not sure how tight the margins were on the center core
like; did they fail the burn
or did it just tip or something
I am sad that the stream ended this fast
well, you know
gotta get drunk and all :D

elon musk is cancelled. if he was only a bit of the visionary he pretends to be he would shoot anything but a fucking tesla into space for presentation.
this is literally one of the dumbest things since the space disco ball
i haven't seen anyone actually give a single fuck about the tesla :D

no seriously, what's wrong with "hello science, we're going to test a monster rocket with a chance to reach X. no promises tho."
my understanding is that on these types of missions a test weight is required
i'm pretty sure there's a bet involved somewhere in there

and that's the stupid thing.
i'd call it a smart way of getting the media to talk about the launch

like... the nasa didn't back in the 80's?
nasa isn't a private entity though and gets the funding from the government

why do we shoot rockets into space in first place? for the media?
let's face it: musk is a stupid kid who does silly things only to amass more money. he has no interest in science.
spacex is a business, and their oft reiterated goal is to get people to mars
i get what you mean by not doing hardcore science
but that's just it
nasa isn't a business, spacex is
and if this publicity stunt works for them, they reached their goal
