Comment to Game Accounts Suspended – April 12, 2018
by (ArenaNet) Gaile Gray.6029 in News and Announcements

Yesterday we suspended 1,583 accounts for a period of 6 months. 1516 accounts were suspended because we detected that the accounts were running Guild Wars 2 at the same time as one or more of the following programs over a significant number of hours during a multi-week period earlier this year. We targeted programs that allow players to cheat and gain unfair gameplay advantages, even if those programs have other, more benign uses.

Programs Detected:

  • CheatEngine
  • Nabster
  • GW2MHRexe
  • UNF
  • MMOMINION

@Archomeda Was it you who archived the old gw2 forums? Did you archive them all, or just API?

Not me, @darthmaim made one of the API section

New discussion in API Development:

pvp season 11 missing api data?
by sixshot.5798 in API Development

Season 11 is running and I was checking on gw2efficiency for personal progress/standing. Turns out nothing was tracked except for recent matches. Out of curiosity, I checked pvp/standings with my token and it lists all my past participation, except for anything from season 11. I did a quick query to the pvp/season endpoint and it returned 10 items. And sure enough, none of the UUID in the array matches season 11. Will such data be added to the API or has support for the API stalled?

haha yeah
didn't blow up at all btw :)
but it's nice to have official confirmation

i've been thinking about the api exposing the fractal instabilities again, we still have #173 from @lye apparently, it's probably still valid i think?
although of course, it's no longer static, but the structure should still be possible
(the downloads are still online)
