windwarrior
@windwarrior
you can just have one blessed repo on a server
git remote add somelocalserver
Eearslya Sleiarion
@Eearslya
git is decentralized
There's nothing stopping you from setting someone else's repo as a remote
windwarrior
@windwarrior
that
Eearslya Sleiarion
@Eearslya
Just somehow have a tunnel between 2 PCs and you can add pretty much anything as a remote
Archomeda
@Archomeda
i mean fully decentralized as in you don't need a server that keeps a copy of the repository that everyone can fork
and is working from
Eearslya Sleiarion
@Eearslya
Doesn't even have to be a url, it can be a file path on the local system. origin could easily just be another folder on the same PC
You don't
windwarrior
@windwarrior
yeah, and thats slightly more involved, on ordinary unix systems that would mean having users for everyone with permissions
Eearslya Sleiarion
@Eearslya
You don't need a central server to fork off of. It just..makes it convenient
iirc the linux kernel does 'pull requests' just using .patch files

@Eearslya
Oh wow, didn't realize there was a project about it
Eearslya Sleiarion
@Eearslya
But yeah, if we didn't have the "central" repo on GitHub, we could employ basically the same thing with just a few more steps
Instead of git pull it'd be more like.. git fetch darthmaim master git merge darthmaim/master
Archomeda
@Archomeda
github seems to be up again for me

@darthmaim
yep

@lye
:fire: :fire: doing a live deploy soonish
  • Fix /v2/pvp/seasons/:id/leaderboards/:board/:region having na/eu backwards.
  • Fix /v2/guild/:id/log not having user_id set properly.
  • Fix /v2/guild/:id/log overwriting the correct count with 1 for "treasury" entries.

Cool :)

A question for our lovely @lye here, I came across some weird things for the revenant legends:

The first skills listed are the ones directly mentioned in /v2/legends, but the second one for Centaur, Assassin and Demon are mentioned in /v2/professions/Revenant.training while the second one for Dwarf and Dragon aren't mentioned anywhere I think. Also, the second skills have either the flag NoUnderwater or have a flip_skill that refers to their respective first skill, but not both at the same time. Do you know what's up with that?

Cool gw2armory.com now shows user ranks on their pages
PvP ranks ...

250.000.000 $ a year. Now that's a number. I'd like to see something similar from Youtube nevertheless

urgh, one of my LEDs on my keyboard is broken

HOPEFULLY NOT THE ONE FOR CAPSLOCK

(i find my new keyboard super annoying as the caps/scroll/num lock LEDs are under their respective keys and sometimes hard to spot...)
there's nothing like a good ol' cherry G80
Archomeda
@Archomeda
eh, i have individual RGB LEDs on my keys
smiley
@codemasher

and a detachable USB cable - modern keyboards are so annoying
Archomeda
@Archomeda

Archomeda
@Archomeda

@lye, small note: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Smoked_Fish_Dinner_(for_Aurene) isn't whitelisted on the api, it's item 79806
(just saw on gw2e that there was an unknown item)
windwarrior
