How does /v2/wvw/matches/stats endpoints teams and guilds work?

Hi everyone,

in the API main page, there are these endpoints:
/v2/wvw/matches/stats/:id/teams/:team/top/kdr
/v2/wvw/matches/stats/:id/teams/:team/top/kills
/v2/wvw/matches/stats/:id/guilds/:guild_id

How does any of these work? :id represents the match, right? So 2-1 to 2-5 or 1-1 to 1-4
If I add the team (red, blue or green) into the first two then I always get an empty array: []
And whatever guild ID I enter into the last one, I always get {"text": "no data for guild"} even so I entered a guild ID from one of the claimed_by entries from the objectives from one of the matches.

all of the pvp build template items given for free when you equip a build template should be whitelisted (they aren't)

Magic Find

Is there any way to view a characters/Account-wide Magic Find?
I feel like this should be in "v2/characters", or at least have the account's base stat under "account", but I can't see it anywhere.

heya. im facing something weird: im playing around with the v2 items and characters endpoint. characters returns me ids for bags, and i cannot resolve the starter backpack against the items endpoint. the rest does work (some 10 slot bag, invisible bag, etc.). Is this due to the whitelist wipe i read about?

since no one really acquires the starter backpack because its already on the character when you created them, it can't get auto whitelisted
it was manually whitelisted before the wipe

Teamspeak auto-verify through API

Hi friends! I recently played on a WvW Teamspeak that has an auto-verify feature that works with the GW2 API. This was Fort Aspenwood specifically, but I know Blackgate has something similar too.

I want to add this to the Teamspeak server that I run. Do any of you have any links to this resource and/or instructions on how to do it? Thanks for your time.

Hmm, has anyone figured out the possible enum values for the state property in /v2/guild/:id/teams? 🤔
seems they aren't documented, but so far I've seen "Active"

Basically an event or via a web hook, to subscribe to a API key delete. (or more kinds of event, if any)

I guess they want a notification when an API key becomes invalid
if you attempt to access an API with an invalid key, does the error message tell you the key doesn't exist?

if you request an authenticated endpoint, yes
it returns { "text": "invalid key" } or something along those lines
and it uses a HTTP 403 response
so i don't know why you would want a webhook for this
just handle the error properly

Just as a general comment about what you should do, once you receive an "invalid key" error. I recommend not deleting it, but have it time out after a while. I remember previous api issues, that caused valid keys to return invalid key
But i agree, i don't really see the real need for a push notification when a key is invalid

It is a pretty boring notification. Notifications for events like character creation, level up, guild creation, member joining would be more interesting.

So that_shaman has successfully generated a replacement set of API compatible map tiles and is struggling to find somewhere good to host them
how about getting Anet to host his tiles on their api tile server ;<

small maps, like the battle isles or the pre-searing are like 30MB each

because if its just 3.1gb between png and jpg then I aught to be host it easially enough
and as regards traffic as long as its 19tb or less per month it aught to be fine
