are the item icons broken for anyone else? looks like most of the item icons are failing to load with error messages like {"error":48,"product":0,"module":2,"line":89,"text":"file couldn't be loaded"}

I'm considering making my own render.guildwars2.com server using whatever tyria2d is based on because it does seem to be using ingame file IDs for the image filenames

@darthmaim your CDN currently has Cache-Control: public, max-age=31536000. adding , immutable to that would make any system that supports it treat the max-age as being infinite instead.
(infinity is slightly longer than the current setting of one year)

that looks like Go error variable name formatting, but I'm assuming it's not because all the timeout errors in Go are lowercase with spaces when converted to strings

some wvw matches return either 400 or 504 since 07:35 UTC this morning
oddly enough https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/wvw/matches/2-1 and https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/wvw/matches/1-4 work while the rest don't
those two are frozen at that time though (no updates appeared after 07:35)

Hello all,

I put together a quick change to the API to allow some more fine-tuned control over sharing API keys a few weeks ago, and I had a chance to deploy it today. I have added an endpoint for creating what I'm calling "subtokens".

@dsnider-anet I could do it, but the roadblock I ran into is that I only have one copy of gw2.dat and I really don't want to have to deal with file locking or trying to find the correct time to sync it to another machine

more specific... are subtokens automatically invalidated as well as soon as the token is deleted?
I ask because invalidating those JWT tokens is always a thing to think about

Yes, deleting the token will invalidate all subtokens

Subtoken generator was one of the first thoughts I had after reading the post. Being able to limit access to e.g. specific characters is interesting. Is it possible to use wildcards in the urls?

A generator could allow you to write wildcards, replacing them with all matching urls when generating the token

I debated that. It's definitely possible, but I thought I'd release it ASAP instead of risking over-engineering it
I also thought of just allowing regex in the urls
