Hello
I want to develop a provably fair game on the ARK platform. I have a few questions. I believe ark CAN't host contracts like ethereum, correct? would there be any method to actually create this game in a decentralized manner using solidity in the ark platform?
Would I have to actually wait for V2 to implement as such thing? or can anyone guide me through the logic if I had the possibility of doing it with a smartcontract..
I guess I could always make a centralized server with the game and host a website with it.

is anyone alive? or sunday is really dead here?

Gitter is literally dead. You should join the ARK Slack and ask this question in #technical_discussions or #help
Ark can't host smart contracts right now. Focus is on developing V2 right now and after that ArkVM which will not be implemented on the ARK mainchain. And you should definetly build up on the v2 core because v1 is deprecated and will be replaced in a matter of time

Yes, as Nico kinda said, it’s a little bit of ghost town here.
Plus, it’s the weekend.
Slack would be you best bet, and there are lots of interesting projects going on.

Here’s a more recent delegate that’s done some impressive work with games.
Not quite decentralized like you’re looking at, but a good starting point.

@Moustikitos please ask your question on Slack
you'll get a response near instantly
we're likely going to shut this Gitter down as no devs use it

Whassup. I see this channel is still up and running. Even though it's not as active as slack, I see anyone that ask a question, does get a response.

Anybody know why I might be getting this error when requesting peers on port 4001?

curl -X GET http://185.233.104.31:4001/api/peers -H "API-Version: 1"
{"error":"should have required property 'port'","success":false}

The only endpoint I see requiring port param looks like the GET /api/peer/get
