@GoldbergData (and anyone interested in adding CSS) - there's a css option under moon_reader. Here's an example: https://github.com/jenniferthompson/RMedicine2018/blob/master/rmedicine2018.Rmd#L8
Also, for those of you who really like things to look pretty but don't know CSS :raising_hand: , the xaringan-themer package is :100: ! https://pkg.garrickadenbuie.com/xaringanthemer/index.html

@jenniferthompson For some reason I cannot get name: to work with a separate style sheet. Hmm.

For those who have been asking for the slide source code: Everything for both the web site and the slides is in this repo (https://github.com/rstudio-education/arm-workshop-rsc2019). For slide source code, look in /static/slides.

eg, here's a link to the xaringan slides source code: https://github.com/rstudio-education/arm-workshop-rsc2019/blob/master/static/slides/xaringan.Rmd

@GoldbergData oh interesting - I'll try it on that slide deck I linked and let you know!

@jenniferthompson
@GoldbergData I got a small example to work in that repo: https://github.com/jenniferthompson/RMedicine2018/blob/master/rmedicine2018.Rmd#L65 Not sure what's up.

One basic css command I was able to use within the .Rmd file was background-color
background-color: #87CEFA

@jenniferthompson I got class to work. Not sure why name/id won’t work..will try to figure it out.

If you insert a link with html, you can force it to open in a new tab with the following code:

<a href="https://www.w3schools.com/" target="_blank">Visit W3Schools!</a>

Also see w3.

did anyone catch where to get the bakeoff library from?
hah, it’s in the code on the line above # remotes::install_github("apreshill/bakeoff")

If you're having trouble getting the GBBO template to run, change the y aesthetic in line 33 to nn, not n.
```{r}
ggplot(epi_by_series, aes(as.factor(series), nn)) +
  geom_col()
```

I was able to get bookdown to work with references to unnumbered chapters like this # Prerequisites {.unnumbered #pre}
so I used .unnumbered instead of -

@apreshill you can also type html/css directly in the .Rmd files for bookdown. Here is an example using inline style adjustments to change the PART section of the toc.
# (PART\*) <i style="font-size: 30px; color:#990017; opacity:1;">Act One</i> {-}
You can also assign html id’s directly and then modify in CSS directly pretty easily:
<i id="test">Act One</i>
#test {
  color: green;
}
