Mario van Zeist
@MariovanZeist
@AlbertoPa David is on the case I see. Issue moved to Efcore repo
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
oh ok
@MariovanZeist I have not checked the notifications yet... I am having fun making my old code work with nullable enabled ! or ... ?! :-)
Mario van Zeist
@MariovanZeist
Yeah looking forward to update my personal framework to use nullable enabled... (not really)
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
let's say it is a purifying experience :-)
less painful than I thought
Mario van Zeist
@MariovanZeist
Maybe a job for a boring sunday :)
o wait... 😁
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
but if you use EF, a lot of care is needed :-D
non-nullable implies [Required] now
Mario van Zeist
@MariovanZeist
I do use EF, but in any case, enabling nullable should result in cleaner code
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
eh that depends, because [Required] is still needed if you want validation errors...
and navigation properties all need to be set to = null!
same for DBSet stuff, or the green wiggles show up :P
oh right, Equals override now take a nullable argument :P
anyway, it just takes a bit of patience... I thought worse
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
@MariovanZeist oh and the fun part is... you do all this work, then you run Add-Migration and it pops up with "#nullable disable" :-)
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
@MariovanZeist what do you use as component library, if any?
Sören Nils Kuklau
@chucker23n:matrix.org
[m]
👀
Mario van Zeist
@MariovanZeist
None, I created my own.
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
ok
I need to find something basic, but that is relatively stable :P
Haytam Zanid
@zHaytam
I use MudBlazor
Sören Nils Kuklau
@chucker23n:matrix.org
[m]
I used BlazorStrap back in the day but it’s a bit limited
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
I am using blazorise at the moment, with the bootstrap module
I only really need something that has taken care of the JS-dependent stuff, because I have no desire to rewrite those myself to make them work in blazor :P
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
@chucker23n:matrix.org same situation with all these libraries. Limited and buggy for months
Sören Nils Kuklau
@chucker23n:matrix.org
[m]
Ah yes, software development.
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
hehe
@chucker23n:matrix.org innovation! ;-)
Mario van Zeist
@MariovanZeist
That's why I made my own, at least they are my bugs now :)
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
well I don't have an interest in writing something to wrap Bootstrap
wvmstr
@wvmstr
MudBlazor here.
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
hmm is it just my perception, but many blazorians prefer material to bootstrap? :-?
AlbertoPa @AlbertoPa sees many known faces in the MudBlazor contrib list
AlbertoPa @AlbertoPa lures @MariovanZeist and @chucker23n:matrix.org with some home-made tiramisu (it was a boring Sunday)
MariovanZeist @MariovanZeist enjoys the 🥞, lovely
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
I keep seeing this error when using hosted blazor wasm:

why is it trying to find a websocket? :-?
Mario van Zeist
@MariovanZeist
Havn't used WASM in a while sorry
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
it seems just the devtools, but it is a little odd :-)
Mario van Zeist
@MariovanZeist
After the nice home-made tiramisu I am going to bed,
night
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
good night @MariovanZeist
SQL-MisterMagoo
@SQL-MisterMagoo
Hot Reload and Browser Link use websockets, I think.
Alberto Passalacqua
@AlbertoPa
oh I see
thanks @SQL-MisterMagoo
