@keflavich - I would be surprised if there are any visible-by-eye objects that don't have very high precision coordinates now (and likewise for the early radio detections). Is that what you really meant?
I'm referring to the github comment about objects on SIMBAD with coords like 13 14.2 +12 22.2.
And does SIMBAD ever programmatically (via tables or any API) return a single string coordinate like that? Or is that just copy-pasting the entire coord string as it shows on the screen?

@taldcroft - the coordinates might come from a file and in that case could very well be a single string

I'll figure out how to to the sign separation, but would like to keep the current one as well, as many times I don't bother with the + sign and I guess others might do the same. For the time being I pushed an update as suggested to simplify the current version
