@Cadair - ah, so I guess WCSAxes is assuming that the coordinate is using the spherical representation
can you try and patch it to do represent_as('spherical') instead of just spherical?
SciPy good so far, but too cold inside!

and dosen't accessing .spherical just do represent_as anyway?#
