anyone - is there a way to show version numbers for packages pip-installed from the latest master?

@keflavich - pip list works fine for me, it lists the version 1.0.2, while the latest available, that is install from the development version is 1.1.dev12738.

@bsipocz - I think that doesn't work if you pip-install a dev version from the zip file github provides

ohh, maybe that's true, I've never tried to do that kind of hack :)
(on a side note: this gitter is worse than it was last year, as I remember last time it listed the people on the right side based on their availability status, greens first then oranges. Now it's a big mess...)

@bsipocz I see all orange most of the time, even when actively talking to a couple people

Oh hey @jberlanga . Haha, it’s not trustworthy.
btw @jberlanga – the RTD page is a thing of beauty.

weird. I see myself with green, but the list seems to be weirdly sorted, so e.g. I don't see you guys at all...

@jberlanga : in reference to @cdeil ’s comment 3 min ago, are you moving onto working on the plotting API now?

@bmorris3 Thanks! I hand-crafted the RTD page in a small batch using an organic Sphinx build.
@bmorris3 Yeah, I'm just working on the plotting stuff right now.

How can we try to split ourselves on different things? If I work on FixedTarget and Observer for this next week, will I be in the clear?

@bsipocz I don't see myself on it, either. or @bmorris3

Of course I think you’ll be using these classes in what you write, so you’ll probably need to check here and there that your implementations are up to date with what I’m doing to those classes

@bmorris3 I think we'll be ok for the moment as long as you give me a heads up on how airmass/pa/coordinate output is being contained since those are the main plotting inputs (other than astropy.time objects)

@jberlanga - you come up when clicking on See All, but then there is no status colour
