Hi ! Does somebody know which magic is used to transform the references in backticks to references used by Sphinx ? (e.g. 'astropy.table.Table' instead of :class:'astropy.table.Table')
hum, tried to escape the backticks but it failed ... (used single quotes instead)
I thought it was the smart_resolver extension which does that, but it seems not.

saimn: I thought that was core, not extension? But I don't know; my understanding of sphinx is very limited

@keflavich - You mean Sphinx core ? AFAIK with Sphinx you have to use reference like :class:'astropy.table.Table'. So I thought astropy_helpers provides a Sphinx extension to resolve the references without :class: but I cannot find it.

@keflavich - Oh I found it, it is the default_role setting of Sphinx !
