Is there any way to customize only one class inside a Sphinx .. automodapi:: directive?
I want to add an .. autoclass:: xxx :inherited_members: but locally it then only builds class "xxx"

@keflavich - If your question is still a question: Have you tried to run the same setup script from ci-helpers? That should do the trick, I think. Or you also mean the full env, containing the non python packages, too? (in that case I don't have any good tips).

I've read somewhere about a feature-freeze date for 1.2, does anyone know where to find the announcement or at which date the freeze will be?

@MSeifert04 feature freeze is may 13, which is the deadline for PRs to be merged for inclusion in 1.2. Announcement was on astropy-dev I think?

I get much more open later this week and am planning to help out :)
Can start them if you want and then you could review?

I already did most parts. It's just that I'm not really good at formulating good and understandable english sentences and that I had some "great" ideas that still linger as open PRs and I don't know which will be merged/seriously altered/postponed.
I can try publishing the current status on RTD so you might take a look.
and there is some largish mail on astropy-dev concerning NDData that might need some thinking about.

ok, I'll at least get through a triage of the open PRs tomorrow. I wouldn't worry about the astropy-dev email at this point. Any big changes in NDData are at least several months away, and the actual changes may (or may not) end up being minor. If you have feedback on the questions Perry asked please do provide it!

@mwcraig I've succeeded (finally) in building on RTD. I've included links to the relevant changed documentation in the issue you've opened. It's based even on the currently open PRs so they don't work on the current master.
