adamginsburg on Freenode has anyone used LevMarLSQFitter to derive fit parameter errors (i.e., cov_x)?
adamginsburg on Freenode I'm having trouble getting scipy to output that, and I don't know why - I don't think the matrix should be singular...

@keflavich use fit_info[‘param_cov’] to get the covariance matrix
@keflavich fit_info is a dict of LevMarLSQFitter

adamginsburg on Freenode @ZvinciusGitter: 'param_cov' is None. I'm trying to figure out why
adamginsburg on Freenode (is the gitter suffix needed? @ZVincius)

hi folks. I was gonna send an email to the list, but I thought I would try this out. Does anyone have experience with astroplan? I'm getting confusing results, and can't seem to find my misunderstanding. Here's a gist of the problem: https://gist.github.com/boada/12584fa0b7046aedf27aebb0616892a5

Does anyone know if there's a converter between SkyCoord objects and json? In other words, is there a function that generates a SkyCoord object from a json object?

adamginsburg on Freenode I don't think so. You should just extract the relevant information from the JSON object and pass it to the SkyCoord initializer.

Thanks. I'm trying to construct the maximally flexible way to do that. I just wanted to know if something already existed before I gave it a shot.

Cadair I would like to see something that could serialize coord objects.
