    Thanks. Works with rm. But what is the difference between removing an image (rmi) and removing a container (rm)?
    mstaiger
    @mstaiger
    Never tried to view an animated GIF in Preview.app. Lot's of fail there.

    @jmunsey
    I was able to get it running again. The package removal process does not clean up much at all. I had to rip it out by the roots to get back to a clean install.
    Andrew Tork Baker
    @atbaker
    @mstaiger - yeah, I usually have to open it in Chrome or do the quick preview thing from Finder

    I'm using tmux and Kitematic on OS X - any way to get docker working within a tmux session with that setup? I googled
    Andrew Tork Baker
    @atbaker
    @abrookins - Can’t say I know the answer. Does anyone in the chat have an idea?

    I've created the flask-app image but when I try to run it I get python: can't open file './your-daemon-or-script.py'?

    @ragingmongoose https://docs.docker.com/introduction/understanding-docker/ starting at what happens when you run container?
    mstaiger
    @mstaiger
    @wwdesta Needed to change it to './app.py'

    @jmunsey
    I shouldn't have said "running again". It is more like hanging again.
    mstaiger
    @mstaiger
    Did a 'docker run -p 5000:5000 flask-app', but I have to go to the boot2docker ip and can't go to localhost to see the page.
    Andrew Tork Baker
    @atbaker
    @mstaiger - that’s expected. One of the quirks of using boot2docker is that you’re never truly on localhost - always the boot2docker ip
    Jamey DeOrio
    @jameydeorio
    boot2docker creates a VM where docker actually lives, and the docker commands you type on the host are routed there
    Andrew Tork Baker
    @atbaker
    @jameydeorio @mstaiger - that’s right
    Jamey DeOrio
    @jameydeorio
    Are there any example solutions for the last exercise?
    Andrew Tork Baker
    @atbaker
    @jameydeorio - Only my very out of date Docker PaaS - https://github.com/atbaker/spin-docker
    Jamey DeOrio
    @jameydeorio
    spin-docker 😆
    Andrew Tork Baker
    @atbaker
    @jameydeorio - the name may have been the best part of that project (along with the docs and test coverage :smile: )

    @atbaker sorry, where is the google doc? I don't see the link in here, nor at atbaker.me. I remember when you mentioned it, but because I didn't think I was going to be using an EC2 instance I didn't go there at the time.
    @kfogel - let me know if that works. Sorry again that the wifi is so crippling
    Karl Fogel
    @kfogel
    @atbaker I'm planning to grab ec2-54-69-148-73.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com . I can't edit the doc -- you do that, right?
    @atbaker yeah... even reaching the Google Doc takes a while :-(.
    @atbaker row 56, if that heplps
    Andrew Tork Baker
    @atbaker
    @kfogel - locked you in. Good luck!
    Karl Fogel
    @kfogel
    @atbaker thx
    @atbaker oh, there's a PEM file? Where do I get that?

    @atbaker: approx how many attendees are in the class?

    So for anyone using tmux and Kitematic on OS X, a suggestion from one of my coworkers that seems to work to get docker running from a tmux session is to put this code in your bash/zshrc:
    # docker-machine/Kitematic
    if [ -d '/Applications/Kitematic (Beta).app/Contents/Resources/resources' ]; then
       export PATH='/Applications/Kitematic (Beta).app/Contents/Resources/resources/':$PATH
       eval "$(docker-machine env dev)"
    fi
    Andrew Tork Baker
    @atbaker
    @abrookins - thanks for sharing!
    Andrew Brookins
    @abrookins
    The "dev" part is the name of the docker machine
    Benjamin Goh
    @masotime
    @atbaker thanks for the session! I learned a lot, and it's been pretty fun :)
    Andrew Tork Baker
    @atbaker
    @masotime WOOOO! Thanks for coming!
    Thanks for coming out everyone! If you want more Docker at OSCON this week, check out this round-up of all the Docker talks and tutorials: http://blog.docker.com/2015/07/your-docker-agenda-for-oscon/

    @/all - If just updated http://docker.atbaker.me/exercises/exercise_0.html with instructions on how to stand up your own version of my cloud server from today’s tutorial
    At this point I’m done sprucing up the materials - chat me here or email me at abaker@twilio.com if you have more questions going forward!

    @abhiunc that file needs to be in the directory you're currently executing the command in. It doesn't seem to like paths
