I have worked mostly in automation functional testing using Selenium/QTP. But I had never previously automated service testing of SOAP/REST services. I have mostly used postman to validate responses.

Are there custom frameworks like selenium which ppl use to automate service testing?

@vishnu45 You need access to source code while running your tests. There is a free plugin called Jacoco that does it.

@vishnu45 : The csv file is an ideal data store. It is simple to use on both Linux and Windows machine and you dont need to use a special software like Office to edit it.
