HI Everyone, Can someone please suggest actively maintained RestApi testing framework
I've gone through various from google results but found none of them promising
Examples. Unirest, Frisby, RestAssuredJs
Rahul Yadav
@zac11
Postman with Postman BDD library is actively maintained - I have used that and it's cool
Also Chakram is an awesome JS library for API testing

Hey guys, which visual testing framework is the best in your opinion from open sourced frameworks ? Because e.g. applitools is awesome but is not cheap
Юрий Иванов
@YuriIvanov
@VatslauX For API testing, in my framework (written in Java) I'm using RestAssured under the hood. One of the best lib for this purpose.

Hi Everyone, Can someone please suggest the best way to select the last element matching the same class name in selenium (java)???
Юрий Иванов
@YuriIvanov
@l30rg3 Use XPath
//*[@class='yourClassName'][last()]
Something like this

Is there an open source automation framework for mobile performance tests?
For native android apps
Like memory profiling, cpu performance, mem leaks , app performance etc like non functional tests

Hi All, I m having one situation in my project, where i need to create a framework from scratch, In framework i have to cover mobile hybrid app/Browser in desktop (chrome/mozilla)/off course Interaction with api
Any suggestion ...would be appreciable ..Kindly help me
Юрий Иванов
@YuriIvanov
I'm using following stack in my framework: Maven + TestNG + Selenide (Web UI) + RestAssured (API) + Jackson (Serialization/Desirialization) + Allure 2 and TestNG Listeners for reporting.
@lokesh2009
as far as i know, the best choice for mobile UI is Appium and it should be easy to integrate it with Selenide
lokesh2009
@lokesh2009
@YuriIvanov Thanks for ur inputs, Yes i know UI interaction appium is very good tool, but matter of fact i need to validate the API also, Lets say I need to create account with API webservices and need to login with the same id created via API, in UI
So there were multiple scenario...Dats what i what to know the idea..where i can create a archtiecture where all UI elements create as a library
and interact with api
Юрий Иванов
@YuriIvanov
RestAssured (API) + Jackson (Serialization/Desirialization)
For interaction with API
"UI elements create as a library" - see PageObject pattern

@lokesh2009
