Caught up on sleep last night :-P So, I actually wrote about half of it as an Atomix resource, but TBH it but doesn't quite feel right. This probably needs to be done in the Orwell project where it was originally going to be done. It just makes more sense to be built on top of Atomix rather than in it, not to mention it will be a lot easier and less complex. But I also got side tracked experimenting with sharding in Atomix which may actually be more feasible than I thought. I am probably going to try to finish up that experiment before I throw together the Orwell API, but I think Orwell should be a fairly easy task built on top of Atomix. To that end, I'm also making some improvements to DistributedMessageBus to allow a thread-per-consumer.

Ahh i see. okay
still got a lot of work to do anyway on top of atomix :-)
need to find a way to make it work in jruby
most likely means i need to build a separate java class that provides a bit simpler abstractions
but still rather keep it all in java it self
and only break out to ruby for the LS plugins
not sure how to achieve that

last i talked to the LS guys they wanted me to write it as a separate 'agent' that can do certain things.. but imho it makes more sense to be core part of it

they seem to think clustering can just be a side part of it instead of core
