Hello, Aurelia is trying to module-load any image that it finds in a template like <img src=xxx> I'm using an image that will only be available in the web server
it blows with "Module not found: Error: Can't resolve './img/loaders/rotating-circle-large.svg'"
is there any way I can prevent Aurelia from autoloading imgs ?

Hi, I've recently updated to the latest Aurelia 2/vnext DEV version 2.1.0-dev.202103310619 and have converted my route hook to a Shared Lifecycle Hook. The canLoad of my AuthHandler runs and all seems well with the auth part of it. However, ever since updating, I don't seem to receive my query parameters in the load(params) of my pages that implement IRouteViewModel; the params object stays empty. Any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong in this regard?

Does the Aurelia-mobile-plugin enable drag and drop events for mobile devices?

Hi, when can we expect the new release for aurelia-webpack-plugin with support for Webpack5, the PRs seemed to have been merged?
Is there anything similar to Angular’s ng-init in Aurelia? What, if anything, can be used in lieu of ng-init?
Nick Smith
@norgie there have been times I use a hidden input with value.bind="(code)" be cautious, as https://docs.angularjs.org/api/ng/directive/ngInit states, it can easily be abused
I've mostly used it on an ifd element to initialize an object
The Angular 1.x code I’m porting to Aurelia 1 is using ng-init on a <tr> element, i.e.

@norgie I'd be happy to continue this in a private chat to better understand your goals

Hi, this is a long shot as I don't believe it's possible but...

with Aurelia, is it possible to intercept a POST request from an external site?

I have developed a web app with Aurelia which redirects out to a payment gateway and the payment gateway is doing a POST request back to our return URL which understandably returns an error of
Cannot POST /callback/xxxxxx

@CKanishka did you manage to get a working Webpack 5 config with aurelia? I'm also looking for one.

I have this external library, https://static.zdassets.com/zendesk_app_framework_sdk/2.0/zaf_sdk.js, and I need to be able to have access to the 'ZAFClient' object in the view-model, anyone know how I would go about doing that?

I feel like I am overlooking something simple

I did overlook something. Typescript is dumb.
When using the aurelia-fetch-client HttpClient, is there a way to change the params.withDefaults({credentials: 'same-origin'}) to 'include' on a per call request. Right now, it looks like you can only set this during configuration. In some cases, I want to set this to include. It just depends on where the call is being made to avoid CORS issues.

I am trying to use aurelia-web-components to export a simple custom element into web component in order to use by other framework. My project just has one component under src/resource/elements folder and I followed the instructions under https://www.npmjs.com/package/aurelia-web-components. After running "npm run build", the dist folder just contains a bunch of app and vendors chunk js files. Where are the "You will find the compiled code in the dist folder, available in module formats: UMD, AMD, CommonJS and ES6."? How do I distribute the exported web components to other framework?
Here is my main.js file:
import * as environment from "../config/environment.json";
import { PLATFORM } from "aurelia-pal";
import { CustomElementRegistry } from "aurelia-web-components";

export function configure(aurelia) {
  // .feature(PLATFORM.moduleName('resources/index'));

  aurelia.use.developmentLogging(environment.debug ? "debug" : "warn");

  if (environment.testing) {

    .then(() => {
      const registry = aurelia.container.get(CustomElementRegistry);
    .then(() => aurelia.setRoot(PLATFORM.moduleName("app")));

I am trying to upgrade aurelia-templating-resources from 1.6.0 -> 1.13.1 to get the fix for the race condition when composing a UI (PR: aurelia/templating-resources#345) - it is throwing an exception when it calls configure.globalResources (Invalid resource path [function Compose(element, container, compositionEngine, viewSlot, viewResources, taskQueue)). I am wondering if I need to upgrade other dependencies along with the aurelia-templating-resources upgrade.

This is the aurelia section of my package.json:

"aurelia-animator-css": "1.0.4",
"aurelia-bootstrapper-webpack": "1.1.0",
