Hi there! Good afternoon!

We've just published azk v0.16.0-rc.1 -- it's a RC version yet, hence we'd like to ask you to update azk and test this new version!

Ubuntu:

$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install azk-rc

Mac:

$ brew unlink azk && brew install azukiapp/azk/azk-rc

Thank you for your support!

i think maybe my repo metadata was updated just prior to you releasing it, let me refresh and see if the package shows now
yup, that was it, i see the package now
i'm on F22, so had to
dnf clean metadata; dnf update; dnf remove azk; dnf install azk-rc

nice! :D
thank you for the info @slobo (what about yum?)
ok, just read about fedora switching from yum to dnf in F22. Good to know, I'll update azk docs

i think yum would still work (it's aliased to dnf), i'm just training my fingers for the future :)
how does shell command work now? seems not to recognize -c

$ azk shell sqitch -t -c 'dropdb -h $PGHOST -U $PGUSER  $PGDATABASE'
exec: "-c": executable file not found in $PATH
azk: finished, because the container was removed
from changenotes seems i have to use something like
azk shell sqitch -t -- 'dropdb' '-h' '$PGHOST' '-U' '$PGUSER'  '$PGDATABASE'

but then it says

dropdb: could not connect to database template1: could not translate host name "$PGHOST" to address: Name or service not known

How would I get it to use env variable?

this will be included in our release notes + release blog post, but yes, azk shell has changed.
azk now uses the image ENTRYPOINT/CMD and doesn't forces a shell anymore.

In your case, @slobo, you should use:

$ azk shell --shell=/bin/bash sqitch -c 'dropdb -h $PGHOST -U $PGUSER  $PGDATABASE'

i do have shell: '/bin/bash' in Azkfile
changlog says "priority for azk shell: shell option (--shell) > Azkfile.js > docker image"
is it a bug then?

same for another container, called proxy, i have

{ shell: '/perl/carton-shell.sh'`, ///...

but

azk shell proxy

just exits, vs

azk shell proxy perl/carton-shell.sh

works fine

I'm digging deeper, but yeah, it looks like a bug

ok, i'll go back to stable for now :)
(btw, for your docs, just found that with dnf you can do dnf install --allowerasing azk-rc instead of first having to remove azk)

sudo dnf install --refresh --allowerasing azk-rc
