Not important but Github on that page should be changed to Drupal.org:

@BWPanda
That's actually a field label on the content type, so not a simple wording fix...

Can anyone delete this spam on b.org? https://backdropcms.org/account/sapphirelimousine
Peter Anderson
@BWPanda
I blocked the account, but it's still showing up...
I guess blocking just affects login...?
Olaf Grabienski
@olafgrabienski
Hm, don't know ... It's however so clearly a spam account that it should be okay to delete it rightaway.
Peter Anderson
@BWPanda
"Disable the account and unpublish its content." or "Delete the account and its content."?
Or is disabling the same as blocking?
Peter Anderson
@BWPanda
Meh, just went ahead and deleted account and content.

hey folks, I've completed the port of the module I mentioned yesterday, but I can't seem to figure out how to change the label to port completed.
backdrop-ops/contrib#389

@BWPanda
@ericfg_gitlab Yeah, someone with access will need to do that for you. Hint hint @klonos :wink:

I also can't figure out how to "apply" to be a member of the git group.
https://github.com/backdrop-ops/contrib/ says:
You can learn more about the application process on backdropcms.org.

follow that link to https://backdropcms.org/contribute/add-ons
and there's a link "apply to join" and it just leads back to the github page that sent me there.

can anyone help an old man figure out new tricks?

Peter Anderson
@BWPanda
@ericfg_gitlab Hmm yeah, looks like the documentation could do with some updating... In the meantime, I think this is what you're looking for: https://backdropcms.org/contribute/join/process
I just updated the 'create an issue' link, so it works now

@serundeputy - Can I whine a minute?

Why no date on your blog post? https://serundeputy.io/lando-envoy-automate-your-deploy-steps

Anytime I read something like this, I immediately look to see how long ago it was written.

Feedback offered with love.
:-)
Also curious if it’s a deliberate decision or simply an oversight, because I see this on other blogs as well.

@ericfg_gitlab @BWPanda I happened to see that same confusion the other day and submitted a PR with the link that @BWPanda listed above: backdrop-ops/contrib#385
I was brainstorming about how/whether it would be possible to ping Zulip when a new contrib group application came in. I know @docwilmot has been pushing for that to become less arcane for a long time now...

@alanmels - It’s not clear to me which “homepage” field you are talking about in that issue. Can you add a little more information?
Is this on comments?

So I'm trying to use the Custom Search blocks. It shouldn't be this hard to make the search button show up next to the search box instead of underneath it.

@serundeputy
@stpaultim not a deliberate decision; I'll see what I can do

@stpaultim
@serundeputy - no worries. I just wanted to say something, because usually this irritation happens with people I have no connection to. I saw this as an opportunity to raise the issue and see if there was a reason for this that I didn’t understand.

@keiserjb_twitter Should be able to do that with CSS, or you could test https://github.com/backdrop-contrib/better_search (but it might need a little TLC as well)
Justin Keiser
@keiserjb_twitter
should be able to, but I'm struggling. I need to work on something else.

@keiserjb_twitter - My colleage did the same thing earlier this week on a different Drupal 8 field. Let me check his css.
Laryn - CEDC.org
@laryn
@keiserjb_twitter You mean the core search block, right? Try .search-block-form .form-item-search-block-form, .search-block-form .form-actions { display: inline-block; }
Alan Mels
@alanmels
@stpaultim Please see the edited post on backdrop/backdrop-issues#4279. Thanks!
Tim Erickson
@stpaultim
@keiserjb_twitter - Yes, my colleage did the same to an exposed views filter (D8) and he also seems to have accomplished it by adding {display: inline block} to a couple of elements.
@alanmels - Thanks, that is very helpful.

I'll keep poking around in the inspector. I've done this before when messing around and didn't save it.

Has anyone managed to get feeds tamper working in backdrop?
Or is there another solution to getting node fields with multiple values imported into BD?
