I have uninstalled the Gitter app from my phone (yay! goodbye broken, annoying software) but will continue to check Gitter from my computer (to provide support, point people to Zulip, etc.). And of course I'm on Zulip on both phone & computer most of the time now.
@indigoxela I had made a separate fork of i18n a while back. https://github.com/herbdool/i18n but I stopped when it became too much. I don't normally look at Gitter so I might miss your replies
Does anyone has experience with event registration...? I did several projects in Drupal 7, using Entity Registration, Node Registration and custom code. Backdrop CMS does not seem to have any of those modules ported... but on the other side, I have the impression that this function is being taken out of any CMS in the long term. Signup is easy, handling signups is not. However, the current customer request is rather easy, I would love to do it in Backdrop CMS... need help for decisions..,-)
@mazzech no but I’m also interested in that
I don't have experience, but if requested by a customer I'd probably just use Webform. If that wasn't enough, I might try to use a third-party system and then write an integration module...
@matthiaswalti_twitter hope you don’t mind my posting your question to the forum. I’m going to be looking for an answer to this myself in a few months and wanted a place to store any feedback that comes in, where I can easily find it.
Hey @hosef  ...I wanted to ask a Color module-related question, but I cannot see an account for you in Zulip. Planning to do that soon?
(with Zulip being the official chat, I don't wanna start a discussion here)
I think @bd0bd might be trying to say something in the issue queues
@matthiaswalti_twitter Entity Registrations looks like it doesnt use CTools, which is the biggest rate limiteer in porting things usually. Could you run the D7 code through Coder Upgrade then create a repo on GitHub, then we could help port it if you need. Sounds like functionality Backdrop contrib should offer.
@klonos his account name in Zulip is Joseph Flatt. He's camping right now, however, so it will be later tomorrow or Wednesday before he will get back to you.
@matthiaswalti_twitter We built an Event registration with limited tickets in D7 using Webform and Rules IIRC. If you’re interested I can have a look at the configuration when I’m back home, next week.
