How do you know the private key controlling the address you’re currently holding your Beam in is safe? And the Beam wallet app you used to transfer it is safe? Same kind of thing. Either you audit the code yourself, trust the writers of the code, or trust someone else to audit the code

Thanks for the feedback on it..yes for the time being it may prevent some scams, on other hand a regular Joe, the online digital content creator will have to go somewhere else for his social tokens as very soon with beam it will cost him 3000 usd and more..
It seems all of a sudden the privacy will become the luxurious thing when it comes to creating a simple token, I'm sure there will be a solution to that. Imagine pirate chain coming up with the same thing with the cost of a 5$ vs 5000$
I don't think it makes sense to price this service so high in order to weed out the potentially bad elements, they will come anyway. The private smart contract can be massive so may require some extra fees but paying thousands of $$$ to create a token on beam where other chains do it for a few quid?

I guess this is why beamX DAO will govern the whole thing and decide over time what fees for creating confidential assets on beam are best to suit the market. It will be interesting to watch the governing proces at play, from submitting proposal to voting on this idea and many other ones

I hope the upcoming DAO will solve such a problem in the future, if it arises. I think that if the price of Beam is high enough to result in a lack of new projects, by voting and changing the code it will be possible to remedy this (developers would have to comment on this). In the case of projects that cost a few pounds to create, the advantage is the ability to trace the blockchain, analyze the code and draw conclusions: scam or not scam. We all know here (at least I hope so) that we won't do things like that with Beam. Therefore, the higher price paid to create the project will, in my opinion, screen out hooligans and cheaters. I prefer privacy to be associated with a higher standard, and thus a correspondingly high price. If you're filthy rich, you care about your security and privacy. You pay a higher price than the common man. The same should be true for the privacy of cryptocurrencies. In this case, creating projects based on Beam etc. priv crypto.
