I have everything up and running with the docker image and im able to predict using googlenet
now I want to add a new model, for example gender
i downloaded and unpacked to /opt/models/gender
My question is regarding what parameters to put in during service creation

In general look at the model.json file as it records the main ops
It shouldn't differ much from the other model you ve tested

Ok great, thanks. and what about other caffe models from model zoo?
How do I determine template, nclasses, etc...
Emmanuel Benazera

You dont need template on pre trained models
nclasses when not obvious from description, you can deduce from prototxt

ok my mistake, I mistook the optional column in the API docs as required
so the yes under template had me confused
last question--- can this work with other models such as face detection?

OK there may still be typos, please post an issue we ll fix them
At the moment the supervised setting supports either finite classes or regression as output, and the unsupervised one can return any layer
So if you mean to return a bounding box as a face detector it may work under the unsupervised setting at the moment

It's been on our list to try that but we haven't yet. So let us know ;)

Hey @beniz
how is it going?
I'm trying xgboost with my python script and something really strange is happening
no matter how many iterations I send, it always does 100

same from python or from API
99 iterations and that's it
I did do a first round of 100 for testing, but I'm used other services names, stopped, restarted, rebooted the server.... No luck
