I was trying to understand the confusion matrix, which has a very appropriate name, and have one question
for each category, you get a list of numbers like in columns, I guess those numbers is the % of times the objects from that category have been placed in the category the column
represents
but how do I know which category goes into which column, doesn't seem to be clear
have I explained myself?

Have you read the wikipedia page on the conf matrix ?

a while ago, yes
so in the wikipedia page you get a table with categories as headers of the rows and headers of the columns

The diagonal should be 1 or 100% for all categories

what I get from dede is a "table" with categories as headers for the rows, but not for the columns

That's the diagonal with cmdiag, use cmfull for the full matrix

yep, that's the one I'm using
does it give you the headers for the columns?

Can you post an example ? Rows and columns are the same

I may be skipping the headers of the columns when indexing into ES, but don't remember ever having seen it
I think I see what you mean, the first row is the first column
for the header
right?

I don't remember, but the headers are the same for columns and rows

ok, I think I understand it now, need to finish what's running now to be able to manually run one and get the raw data
thanks :-)
