Thanks for a good first call guys! @sarthak-sehgal @Megh-Thakkar @rowlandm
Is everyone ok if we keep discussing GSoC matters in this channel or should we create a separate one?

Here is quick list of tasks for the first week:
  1. Decide on how and where to host and run the BioJS GSoC Blog. Preferred option is Jekyll on Github.
  2. Create repos for FE and BE projects and move existing code there.
  3. Read up on and potentially start setting up a Code Review process and Continuous Integreation. Keywords: Continuous integration, Development/Staging/Prodction environments, Gitflow, Branch Protection, Open source contribution guidelines.

@DennisSchwartz, in the second point, the existing code you mean is the one in registry-biojs repo?
Shouldn't we start from scratch?

No I meant the code you guys produced for your prototypes. But if you’d like to not re-use that code and start from scratch instead, that’s ok too :)

I would prefer starting from scratch since the code I wrote was on VanillaJS and now I'll be using VueJS
