Hi Justin - will these sessions be recorded for viewing later?

@tribet84
Looks like there are people from very different backgrounds and different programming skill levels, do you think it could be a good idea to split the course?
Jay-Ar Jamon
@skrpt
that's a better idea!
Madelene Campos
@Madelene
@alexisabril that would be fantastic (re: homework)
Marshall Thompson
@marshallswain
@jbarnicle I believe you will be able to find them both on the Bitovi Google+ page and in the YouTube channel. At least, that's how it has worked in the past.

Can you guys provide your twitter handles and anything else you want to share?
Someone just asked in the questions app: ``` Can you give one or 2 concrete examples of where javascript excels. In other words, JS can help you best accomplish x, y or z (tasks or apps).
Answer: JavaScript is the only real option anymore for rich behavior in the browser
so sites like Facebook / Twitter / GMail / etc could not be written without it

@marshallswain
And is there any other language that you can use on both the client AND server?
Mick McGrath
@mickmcgrath13
Javascript is extremely versatile - DOM manipulation, server-side processing, Data transfer, and even database systems can all be accomplished with JS (my thoughts, anyway)

Tony Brown
@anthonybrown
So is this gitter room going to be the place we meet all the time?
Madelene Campos
@Madelene
Where will @alexisabril post all of the goodies? (I apologize if this question was already answered) :)

@Sonju
I enjoyed today's training. In future trainings I'd like more discussion about the DOM how it works with JS and internet in general. I am a newbie developer and I'm learning to code in JS and all its libraries. These trainings will help me understand my JS/JQuery etc codes. Also, I would like a bit more understanding of computer programming (I hold liberal art degrees and I am transition into a tech field) . Thanks for the (free) course!
