    Thanks for making this training available. I liked the conceptual introduction rather than the usual boring language details that are easy to lookup. One thing that confuses me with JS is the exploding tools/frameworks/libraries in the ecosystem. If you at least mention few of these and what they are and how they relate/differ from others; it would be great help. Thanks again.

    @abaitam Looking at the schedule here: http://blog.bitovi.com/free-weekly-online-javascript-training/ it looks like that topic is scheduled to be covered on September 2nd. That’s a few weeks out. :) Probably because there’s plenty of directly JS-related stuff to cover before diving into the frameworks that are built on top of it.

    Similar logic! If you’ve ever done any assembler development, this would look very familiar

    @Madelene
    Shouldn't c be under the 5 instead of the 2?
    cool
    Alexis Abril
    @alexisabril
    @Madelene you’re correct, it was a typo but moving the c would’ve also fixed the example
    Madelene Campos
    @Madelene
    got it :) Thanks :)
    Alexis Abril
    @alexisabril
    typo with writing…write-o? :)

    Wouldn't looking up a VALUE still be O(n) here?
    Madelene Campos
    @Madelene
    Just to clarify: because n never gets too big, this will make our code run faster, yes?
    faster= more efficient
    Madelene Campos
    @Madelene
    got it!
    (thanks) :)

    In your name example does name="alexis" create a new variable? So me is a variable with a property and name is a new var?
    Alexis Abril
    @alexisabril

    Yes, name would be a new variable in that scenario. We used the shorthand syntax so it was something akin to:

    var me = {}, name = {}

    or name = “alexis”
    “name” itself, is a new variable in memory which points to whatever is declared to the right of the “="
    Sonju
    @Sonju
    Pronunciation is correct!
    John Hitz
    @johnhitz
    And in me.name, name is a property of me???
    Madelene Campos
    @Madelene
    Thanks!
