Hi guys I'm loving brunch. Having an issue with some errors in IE9 due to some babel runtime scripts not being resolved properly

Also I'm curious as to when I would use the npm.static option what is a valid use case for it?

  config:
    paths:
      public: '../public/'
    plugins:
      uglify:
        mangle: true
      fingerprint:
        hashLength: 16
        autoClearOldFiles: true
      babel:
        presets: ['stage-0','es2015','react']
        plugins: ['transform-decorators-legacy','transform-class-properties','transform-es2015-classes','transform-runtime']
        pattern: /^app/
    npm: enabled: true
    files:
      javascripts:
        joinTo: {
          'vendor.js': /^node_modules/,

I’ve only ever used the real and es2015 presets
also, u dont have to enable npm
true by defaut i believe

Ok I'll try it without it then in the earlier versions I think I had to have it enabled
What I could see is that in deppack it prefixes dependencies with node_modules in some places
That's why I was curious about the static option
Mauro Oviedo
@moviedo
Mar 25 2016 15:01
yay, I tired using the static option a fews times since 2.0 was released, but it’s never worked thus far for me
I wouldn’t count on that config option

I have to support IE9 as I'm in Korea and a lot of people use IE because they need activex (yes I know) for banking etc

I wonder why it's adding that node_modules into the file paths now npm3 is out
Mauro Oviedo
@moviedo
Mar 25 2016 15:08
i think that’s for joinTo purposes
i think we’re talking about the same thing
Kenley Tomlin
@kenleytomlin
Mar 25 2016 15:10
it's called relativeRequire so it makes me think its for loading modules relative to that dependency when npm didn't have flat dependencies
Mauro Oviedo
@moviedo
Mar 25 2016 15:11
yes, i saw the project devs talking aobut that
that’s the reason they updates to node v4 and npm 3
npm give flat dep
and it was easier to integrate npm
modules
