BTW This is cool. WHILE rendering an animation I can simply add any interesting frame as a preset on the toolbar, then investigate it later once the rendering has finished. Very useful. Perfect for lazy exploring!!

We won 1:0 !!!!
mclarekin
@mclarekin
we won 39:21 against Wales. In NZ you are only allowed to play soccer if you have a medical certificate stating you are not "man enough" to play Rugby

@zebastian
Me too, just want to See a good game
mclarekin
@mclarekin
OMG, both countries lost :P

I have tested the program under Win 10. 64-bit versio works very well. But I'm thinking to stop creating 32-bit Windows executables. When there is only 2GB of memory available for the program, then it starts to be unstable.

Enhancement for Euro17
you start the game at -5:-5 so there is more psychological desire to score goals. Every ten minutes that a team does not score they get another -1 added to their score. LOL

Untill NZ doen't know how to manufacture round balls :rugby_football:, will be always at 150 position in FIFA ranking :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Mandelbulber is mostly ready for release. I need only to update README and NEWS files. If you have any open activities, please let me know and I will help you to finish them.
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
For me direct pending is Kontext menu generalization for missing Widgets and code clean up. But thats no show stopper for next release.
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
I think we should finish context menu, to have it consistent for all types of widgets
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
OK, i am busy today, can fix up tomorrow. If you want i would be glad for help :)
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
Ok. I will work on this today, so we will have no collisions
mclarekin
@mclarekin
I have no open activities that are necessary for the next release. I will do some more code and UI clean up with V2.09.
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
@zebastian I have just finished with context menu for all widgets. It's also done for multidimensional MyLineEdit
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
We won with Switzerland!!! We are in 1/4 finals!!!

In README file have that the program was tested on
  • Linux Mint 17.2
  • Chakra 2016.02 "Ian"
  • Raspbian
    Is it still actual ?
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
good point.
Chakra 2016.02 "Ian" i just checked -> looks and works great

@zebastian You have worked with MSVC and AppVeyor. Is it works? I there possible to compile mandelbulber with MSVC? I see latest update from AppVeyour from month ago. I'm asking because I'm updating documentation
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
Yes, it works:
I used Visual Studio 2015 community version which uses msvc14
I made the setup with cmake (libraries and includes) and then build the executable.
i am building right now on the raspberry, expecting results for tomorrow morning :)
Linux Mint i am not using anymore...
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
OK. Let me know how it works on raspberry :smiley:
mclarekin
@mclarekin
Gratulacje Polska
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
Thanks!
Dziękuję.
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
hmm, raspberry fails to compile. throwing internal compiler error in render_window.cpp will investigate...
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
It could be just not enogh memory. This source is very big because contains all UI elements. It needs about 500MB of RAM memory to compile
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
Thats a good idea, i will increase swap size and try again...
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
that was it, compiler passed render_window.cpp now proceeding compiling....
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
compilation is ready, program run!
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
nice!
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
Tomorrow I'm starting preparing packages for release. Please do not commit any new changes expect bug fixes.
mclarekin
@mclarekin
expect? except
This release is going to be sooooo good. Wow, what a program!!!
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
Mandelbulber no longer works under Windows XP. This is dying system. Probably Qt5.6 is not compatible with this system
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
Windows 10 looks good so far. No problems yet
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
Actually I see only problems under Widdows XP, but I'm going to ignore it. I will publish this release on Friday
Krzysztof Marczak
@buddhi1980
2.08 is published. Now is the time for vacation. I'm going back to development by the end of July
mclarekin
@mclarekin
"Summertime vacation" sounds good. It is winter down south of the equator, but today we have a pure blue sky.
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
have a good trip Krzysztof. I will be on vacation from beginning of August to beginning of September. So i will continue with programming and you can take over, when im gone :)
@mclarekin you are not missing that much. till now our summer in germany is a sequence of rainy cold days
Sebastian Jennen
@zebastian
