We're super slow today. Sorry for the inconvenience. We are working to fix this as fast as possible.

In short, we switched to Loopback.js, and they have a faulty Mongo connection that only shows up at scale. We're fixing it, and will commit the fix back to Loopback.js as well.

In the meantime, we invite you to:

:point_right: brownie points [wiki]

The number beside your picture on Free Code Camp tells you how many Brownie Points you have.

A user profile picture next to a with Brownie Points score

There are three ways you can get Brownie Points:

  1. Complete challenges - you get one point per challenge you complete
  2. Post relevant links on Camper News - you get 1 point for posting a link, and another point for each upvote your link gets
  3. Help other campers in chat - each time you help another camper and they thank you (by typing "thanks @yourname"), you will get a point

Brownie Points help you look like the kind of person who codes a lot, shares relevant links, and helps people.

They also add to your Streak.

The current context of execution. The context in which values and expressions are "visible," or can be referenced. If a variable or other expression is not "in the current scope," then it is unavailable for use. Scopes can also be layered in a hierarchy, so that child scopes have access to parent scopes, but not vice versa.

@SaintPeter and about your latest edit about editing online. What's the issue with JSON formatting in the online editor? I've two PRs which I edited online.
Rex Schrader
@SaintPeter
Aug 17 2015 20:07
@abhisekp When I first started making changes I was specifically told by Quincy not to use the online editor since it could cause problems with the formatting.
@abhisekp I just know what he told me. I don't know if it's true or not.

@SaintPeter no. No need to search. If he tells it, must be for a reason because of his experience. But we can talk about it to him directly showing those PRs though. :P

@abhisekp I guess we could get clarification, sure.
One reason to do it offline, though, is that you can branch.
I also made the mistake of submitting changes off my online 'staging' branch and they got ALL mucked up.
