The following line of code renders the <ul> as a sibling of the <span> instead of as a child. Is that a bug? Mustache doesn't have this issue.
can.stache('<span><ul><li>Test</li></ul></span>')()

I think it doesn't work because you can't put a block-level element (ul) inside an inline (span)

Yeah, it's not how I would have done it but it's the code I came across while trying to upgrade our codebase to stache and figured that should probably work. It also doesn't work when I use css to make the span a block
